cracker Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Hey guys, Was just browsing around carsales (as you do...) and was looking a little more closely at this brilliantly done 240z: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Datsun-240Z-1970/SSE-AD-2694715/?Cr=2&sdmvc=1 Is the owner on here or another forum? or is there any more known documentation of it? I did a search/hunt but came up donuts. I'd love to read about it and see some better shots. James Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 9, 2014 Administrators Posted April 9, 2014 Apart from that though it does look like a great example think its been for sale for a while on and off. Not sure they have ever signed up here. Might have been involved with the NDSOC at some point. Early 2000s perhaps? Changing interior is the cheap part as we all know anyway. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 9, 2014 Moderators Posted April 9, 2014 Last time I saw it was at a concourse at Southbank in the early 2000's. Greek guy who did spend a bit on the resto. I remember the Roman numeral number plates. He reminds me alot of a member here John (Sirpent) Quote
d3c0y Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Star bar mounting is "interesting" along with the chromed centre console. Quote
dat240z Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 He had it for sale on here a few months ago, was justifying $$ asked etc. Its neat, but not $60K neat. Quote

I believe they are different cars... http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,12258.0.html His carsales ad shows winning NDSOC Concours 2001. Would appear his name is Paul Tsakmakis. Quote
