Administrators gav240z Posted June 30, 2017 Author Administrators Posted June 30, 2017 Ron can fix anything! Check out the before and after photos of this rusty Oscillator I picked up on the cheap! After photos. I bought this expecting it not to work, in fact we were going to sacrifice the tuning fork to determine what material it was composed of, but as usual Ron found a way to get it working again and back from the dead, so we're restoring it. I had 1 Rally Clock that was missing it's original Oscillator (I had an after market 1 ready for it) but figured I'd make it complete and original again. As always happens you don't find rare stuff in isolation, but I found another rusty Oscillator not long after this 1. Which will also need restoring... George and Enzo 2 Quote
Cozza Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Wow, that's impressive. Looks more like a soldered circuit board now. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted July 23, 2017 Moderators Posted July 23, 2017 Very impressive indeed. Nice to see some true trade skills are still around in these days of cheap mass produced (and disposable) goods. Cheers PB Quote
