MyEnquiringMind Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I dont know if one of you blokes is feeling rich, but this caught my eye... hard to tell the quality of it as a genuine PS30, but it has some of the right bits and would make a good resto project... I'll keep dreaming in the short term... http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e136886340 https://box.yahoo.co.jp/guest/slideshow?sid=box-l-ttgiw2eadiisszeh5xemfds3b4-1001&uniqid=eaabc78e-81b7-46e9-87bc-30ce2f13a256 and a lazy $8500 for a set of 432 wheels... http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g96942496 Cheers, J Quote
MyEnquiringMind Posted July 19, 2013 Author Posted July 19, 2013 I am not sure why... i have tried several ways of searching for the same car and it always takes me to the same link that I posted... sorry... is the same happening for other people? http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e136886340 Quote
NZeder Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Worked for me just the second link showing more pics does not work for me. I think the s20 engine has dropped a leg aka blown up as it also states a 3.1 l6 and r200 available to the winner for extra. So it might be genuine but finding a z432 s20 might be hard as the gtr s20 block is different and if it has put a leg out of bed a replacement block and maybe head will be required. Quote
HS30-H Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I dont know if one of you blokes is feeling rich, but this caught my eye... hard to tell the quality of it as a genuine PS30, but it has some of the right bits and would make a good resto project... It's a well-known car amongst a few 432 owners in Japan. He's got a genuine 'PS30' Fairlady Z432 identity ( on paper ) and a whole bunch of correct parts, including a blown up S20 engine. Problem is it was all attached to what *might* ( I have to be careful here... ) actually be a Fairlady Z-L body. The car was running around for a long time with an L-series engine installed ( or re-installed, possibly..... ) A brave buyer might be lucky in sorting this all out, or just clever. Ahem.... and a lazy $8500 for a set of 432 wheels... They are actually Nissan factory works rally wheels for the 240Z. The originals were made by Kobe Seiko for Nissan, and they were never sold direct to the general public. In the past, replicas have been manufactured by Rose Auto in Kyoto and Revive Jalopy in Saitama. Some of the replicas have changed hands in used condition, with the claim that they were genuine. Buyer beware. A short run of replicas was also made more recently here in the UK. Quote
