The never ending list of parts Alex wants for his Zed

Hi guys,

 

Instead of making a new thread every time I'm wanting something, I think I'll just update here as I go. So right now I am chasing:

 

-Radio support brackets (the tilted ones that bolt to the centre console subframe, see picture)

-260Z indicator stalk (any condition, must have button for high beam flash)

-Hazard switch

-1975 260Z FSM (long shot, but if anyone is willing to part with theirs just say so. must have wiring diagram)

-Window rollers

-Spare wheel retainer (the bolt & plate that holds down the spare tyre)

-Factory jack (have the tools, just the jack)

-1975 ORIGINAL Wiring harness

Also after C-pillar emblems, the one with the Z on it as per the ones found on series 2 240Zs and beyond. Don't have to be fabulous condition as long as they have 3 prongs on the back and mount securely (last one fell off!).

Wrong Simon! The one that fell off only had 2 of the 3 prongs left on it which is why it fell off

Well, I'm up in Brisbane but if you get stuck then I have a spare pair of 260Z strut legs.

I just sold the hubs off them & posted down to a Zed owner in Vic. To give you some idea they weighed 6.5kg which cost $20.20 parcel postage.

If you're interested I'll dig them out, photograph & weigh them & get back to you.

BUMP. Now chasing a 260Z indicator stalk, the one with the button on the end for pulsing highbeams. Pretty desperate for one that indicates both left AND right.

I have one here, no electrics attached. Will need another plastic end as well. Would that suit?

Probably not Mark but thanks for the offer. I'm in the middle of pulling my current one apart and cleaning all the contacts/mending broken wires. We'll see how I go!

Ahhh, you'll need the switch behind it like my other Zed did.

Does yours have the highbeam pulse button on the stalk? If it does I'll take it to cannabalise some parts for mine.

 

I got mine working 100% but the finish on the stalk itself and the handle isn't amazing

It only has the wire and connection through the stalk, no plastic button.

Updated. Also chasing an ORIGINAL, uncut wiring loom for a 1975 260Z, will also consider other vintage 260Z harnesses. I'm particularly interested in the dash/IP looms.

Hey Alex i just picked up a 75 260Z which may have some of the parts you are looking for. In particular the wiring loom and headlight/ indicator stalk. PM me.
