Tuning Carbs

Hi, I live in the Berwick area and am in need of getting my SU carbs tuned, they were fitted by the Z shop however I would prefer to try another mechanic....any ideas?

I have heard that Steve Newing at Speed Technology is good.

I have also heard that Daniel Moore is another good Z mechanic but I don't have his contact details handy.

 

Tuning SU's shouldn't be too difficult provided they are in good condition. That really is the key.

Don't go near Steve Newing - I've driven 2 SU equipped Zed's that he's tuned & they ran like utter CRAP!

Thanks for all the info, I have booked in to see Daniel and I will report back how it all went.

You will be fine with Daniel tuning your car. He has a couple of Zeds of his own. One he sprints at the track every now and then. It is pretty close to on the money so he definately knows what he is doing. Pretty honest and reliable as well. Personally I wouldn't be going back to Nizpro again. I also heard they changed their operation around a bit and mainly do EFI now.
