PATINA Z for sale *SOLD*

Well Chaps i am afraid i have to part with Patina.

Due to the fact my track Z is more my priority and i need to get a good box

for it.

1977 260z 2 seater

Chassis number is in the 20000's so it is one of the last ever made

 

Engine: L28, cam etc. Cant give exact list of internals as they are unknown to me

        but is a good sounding engine that runs smooth and drives great and doesn't smoke.

          240Z su's, electronic dizzy.

Gearbox: is in good other than second syncro is on way out. Standard problem.

        Does come with another box but of unknown condition.

Clutch: is also tired but does come with another clutch. I have basically been waiting

        one or the other to fail then change them both at the same time.

Suspension : koni Reds all round, Lowered HD springs, Not sure of spring brand but they are green.

                    Adjustable front LCA's but not castor rod. Rear arms have eccentric bushes.

Diff: r200, sound good but not LSD.

Exhaust: Extractors, 2 1/4 pipe with stainy resonator and muffler. Has nice sound.

Brakes: Standard 260z. work well.

Wheels: Rota RB's 17x9, 17x9.5. Front tyres near new 245, rears 60% 255

Interior: Working condition, all worn but doesn't really need replacing. Up to personal taste really.

            Clock and tacho no work.

Exterior : No major rust, Some small surface areas, Paint is umm old but new. 2pac matte clear

        over custom race car look.

Wot! A H6S for a "fair" price? I have seen one or two sell around the 15-16k mark, seems fairly priced.

New they are around 23k

 

Neal Bate's RA40 Celica rally car has one, but they made him revert it back to H pattern and five speed, after all, it is supposed to be a "Classic" car?

But then not have to spend thousands cutting of transfer cases and modifying rear shafts .

 

If that box was RWD then it would be at my house already

 

and fwiw i can get a NEW rd6s with adapters etc to fit for 21

so why the f would i spend 15 on an older second hand unit that i still need to spend more money on.

so that box is worth maybe 12
