dat2kman Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 The crank from a 260c sedan is better for us, Nissan never bothered much with drilling lots of nasty holes in them 'cos the older folk that was the 260 c market didn' rev their engines past 5000 Less drilled holes = less stress risers= less breakage = easy to knife edge and lighten. It does have a casting number, but I can't tell you. ( it is inside something!!) Quote
C.A.R. Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Thats just teasing, Jason! Pull the sump off the bugger & inform us of the P/N! Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 5, 2014 Administrators Posted April 5, 2014 Old thread but the crank in my L28 F54 block reads P30. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,13624.msg149553.html#msg149553 I know the L24 blocks are P30 stamped, does this mean I have an L24 crank in it? Or is there another stamping on the crank? LD28 cranks = V0740 stamp. (83mm stroke) Photo of stamping is here. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,13969.msg149624.html#msg149624 Quote
NZeder Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Gav L26 blocks are P30 also but the are different to a L24 P30 with valve notches at the top of the bore. I believe you will find the P30 is a L26/L28 crank. The part number for these is 12200-P3000. Also the 330 260c/280c crank part number is 12201-P3000-SV but I don't know what is stamped on one. Quote
