  1. Very nice achievement Peter.
  2. Don’t worry I’ve seen some of the power figures they put out on the dyno and it isn’t impressive. There was a prancing horse in the Group S field at Phillip Island recently. He may have not finished yet. I am with you on the trophy races at Goodwood Alan. Some of the best racing in the best classic cars with no regard for price tags. Used for their intended purpose.
  3. You have a Ferrari?
  4. No disrespect but let’s call the green hornet what it is by what it does. It’s a one trick (track) pony where the driver and car have been built and polished to do one thing. Go around Laguna Seca. Max speed is about 180ks by his telemetry. If you are tracking the “exotic machinery “ I’m pretty sure you can afford to bin it regardless of cost. Just because it says Porsche or Ferrari on the bonnet doesn’t mean it is all powerful and quick.
  5. Lose the firewall and fit 3L L series.
  6. Sell it to juxtaposition in Panama. He is the only one i have faith in to complete such a project.
  7. Why would you do that?
  8. Queenslanders can't spell beer. Do you think they are any good at making go fast bits. Forget the beehive springs as with a dual,if an outer spring fails you still have(some) control over the valve. Isky's with their taller retainers for high lift cams. Wait until you know installed height and true valve lift.
  9. I missed out on the Panamanian Z Car Nationals because nobody would help me with my fuel system. Great bunch of guys.
  10. Why is this coming from a guy that needs a V8 and an auto in his track car?
  11. Are you going group S gav?
  12. Sounds a bit cheap does that include hardening/normalising the casting, pressure test, machining all faces then full service?
  13. Remove it from the block and determine if it’s closed chamber to start with. Injected e88 had an open chamber variant as well. Gav how much to weld a head?
  14. PERKINS PASTE? UHU STICK? TARZANS GRIP? WHAT GLUE MOFO ITS DOING MY HEAD IN!
  15. Did you measure out the cardboard with plastic vernier calipers or a Dora the explorer ruler? I would also think the viscosity and amount of glue used is critical re cardboard/glue ratio, is it not?
  16. Keen to know if you set the weber float heights with either a .45 .55 or .65 wooden stick and which hole to blow down to test it ????
  17. Yeah it's a three ringed circus. Just getting my post count up.
  18. Ok buy the carter pump and a 40 micron pre pump filter and a low pressure fuel pump regulator and screw up the install of said parts and proceed to blame them for your problems and whinge about the waste of money. When all this is done then, with the grace of God and he that is holy will you purchase a STANDARD MECHANICAL PUMP????
  19. You are the one with quality control issues.
  20. WHAT IS WRONG WITH A STANDARD MECHANICAL PUMP?
  21. You need.45 and .65 wooden sticks as go - no go guages.
  22. Yeah i know what they are out of but they have an open chamber variant as well. Everyone wets their pants when injected e88 comes up.
  23. But are they closed chamber e88's? That is the thousand dollar question!
  24. You wil also find a difference in 260 undertrays regarding the height of the sides. A 74 early 260 tray was the same as 240( low sides) and the later ones had higher sides to accommodate the difference in the radiator support panel height.
  25. Help me injected 2.8 you're my only hope.
