  1. Hmmm I tried both together and it didn't make a difference.. When I move the lever it feels like there is little movement in latch..
  2. As much as I like to keep a car the original colour I couldn't wake up every morning and look at a brown car..
  3. I think the brown 240 will impact bidding on the black/yellow 240. Would definitely increase the budget for it.
  4. Same seller as the 260z. Must be a brown fan.
  5. Did you give the guy a call gav?
  6. Sold! Edit:Sorry was on mobile
  7. You could always grab the 2 black 2+2s for 4k on ebay and have some spare change?
  8. You need to remember condition makes a massive difference in price, yeah you can find a 2+2 for 12k but you will need to fix a lot of rust plus interior so technically you're in it at 20k. Recently a 260 2 seater sold for 18.5k with the seats with some tears and about 5 'visible' rust spots in the paint. I'm keeping an eye on the 240z for sale online.
  9. I'll give it a go.. Do you know if they are linked in anyway?
  10. Just wondering if anyone has had an issue with the rear seat latch in a 2+2?? One side of mine doesn't appear to lock in place so before I remove them and take a look it would be nice to get a heads up if someone has gone through the same issue. If it's stuffed i'm sure I could fix or retrofit something similar. Thanks John
  11. Great work, love the colour.
  12. I have one in the skyline but I think there is no way it would help unless it was really minor. A few years ago at a EC track day a RX7 caught fire and it took the driver about 20secs to be flagged down to stop but even by then with 2 small extinguishers on it the fire got too large and by the time a firey got there the car was melted.
  13. Sent Lurch a PM..
  14. It's not that I have an issue as such.. It was recommended to be replaced by the person who issued me a blue slip road worthy. Agreed This is what SWM informed me Are we talking the same rod unit here, all apart from this unit is serviceable I believe.
  15. Hi Guys I've been trying to search for info on replacing a 260z steering uni joint.. I've been on the phone to SW Motorsports who have been helpful but I have been informed that my type is not servicable but they can make a few calls to see what they can do. Has anyone gone through the task of replacing one and could explain to me in more detail what the differences are between these and if I can fit one from another model?? Here are some pics to assist. Any further info would be great. Thanks
  16. http://page15.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t462616186 Original ZG nose headlight covers.
  17. Looks great I actually don't mind the fact that the chrome surround on the lights is also black, sort of looks more modern. I was also considering painting mine black with plastidip but was going to hold off till I know what I want to do with the whole car.
  18. Reviving an old thread to ask if anyone has attempted to modify this system to fit a 2+2??
  19. thanks!
  20. As I'm a new owner and not 100% sure I would say depends on the material?? Plastic no, paper yes..
  21. Hi Guys Wondering if threshold plates such as these differ from model to model??? Will a the 2 seater fit a 2+2? Not too worried if they are physically different more along the lines of if they will still fit.. Hopefully I'm asking in the right area, tried searching and couldn't get an answer. Thanks
  22. Don't mind them at all but doesn't the indicator affect the headlights at night?
  23. haha you guys are awesome.. thanks..
  24. This part is advertised as a part of the boot of a 260z... Anyone know where from? I've tried looking at pictures to identify it but no luck. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/161959476865?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  25. I saw this car and I decided to stay away from it..
