how much you want for the work light?

A situation has arisen, and now my Z is shedless for a while. i have a cheap car cover to get me by, but I want something that will protect my car from everything. any recommendations for car covers?

Im heading out this Saturday to have a look. Iv'e never actually seen another 240/260 in person apart from my own haha

Not to revive a super old thread, but i just finished spending the better half of 5 hours putting in a wiper motor i scored for $20 from the wreckers, out of a 2012 Ford something something (lost the piece of paper with the model written on it) With no wiring guide for the new motor, I went through 3 fuses and 1 set of batteries for my multimeter. Finally it works! But it doesn't go back to reset position for some reason, I think the relay that resets the motor position is seperate from the wiper motor.

They are practically invisible qith the headlights on, but I replaced the parking lights with indicator bulbs aswell. Hopefully shouldnt be a problem

Recently while cruising the streets of Brisbane, I was nearly taken out while turning. The guy yelled out his window, "use your f***ing indicators!", to which I replied, "I am f***ing using them!" I then realised that he was in a transit van that sat high off the road. The visibility of my 260Z indicators is poop. In order to avoid hurting my baby I replaced the parking lights with amber globes and wired them into the indicator harness, and I also put in a pair of amber angel eye/halo headlights, to which I also hooked to the indicators. I want to keep my pride and joy as original as possible but I also dont want to end up a transit van's lunch. I'm actually quite happy with the way they look! What does everyone think of these modern upgrades?

I just upgraded my headlight harness and the difference is chalk and cheese. I have seen a parking light harness for sale on 240z-upgrades http://datsun-240z-upgrades.net/product-info/ I want to make mine, does anyone know what wire goes where?

I know its been discussed before, but LED technology advances faster than rabbits root. Anyone tried one of the new LED headlight kits? Thoughts?

Hi everyone, The last owner pulled out my AC system to clean up the engine bay. Unfortunately, I live in 40 degree weather 80% of the year. I'm looking for the full setup, compressor, hoses etc. Also the vacuum setup, I can't find the canister, but all the tubes are still in the dash.

FIXED!! I used this diagram from this forum. It says it's for a 240Z but works like a charm on my 260Z.

Still no luck. Can someone please clarify something for me, does the power run through the firewall, through the switch, then back through the firewall to the headlights? Or does the switch only control the ground, not the live. I swear I have hooked up those wires every way I could think of. Still no luck.

Hi everyone, i'm in need of assistance. My headlight looks pretty dull (its had the H4 upgrade) so i did the headlight harness upgrade. I put the low beam (red w black) and the highbeam (red) wires into the relays, but when i turn the lights on, all I get is high beams, and when i put the multimeter on the low beam wire that is connecting to the bulb? I get 12v! Am I on the wrong wire? All the wiring diagrams i can find are for the 240. Please help

I've beer looking for indicator lenses for months now, ever since my passenger side lens got pinched. The only ones I have found are in the US and are incredibly expensive. Does anyone know of an cheaper alternative? Dont care if amber or clear.

So I was serving a customer today, when he brings up his love of cars into conversation. I tell him that I have a Z, and happily he tells me that he used to run "The Z Shop" in Brisbane back in the 70s. I tell him I have a 260z and he says, "I saw a really nice Z in Morayfield the other day" shows me a picture, and it's my car! This wouldn't be such a coincidence, but he just moved out to my area around Warwick (4 hours drive to the country from Morayfield) we were both blown away by it. I had been working in Morayfield the week before. Incredible how Z brings people together.

What would one put into ebay to find this part?
