  1. Hi Jake, Still available - direct message me with any additional details you may need. Cheers...G
  2. Hi All, LD28 crankshaft for sale, in great condition and boxed in wooden case, ready to courier wherever needed. Pictures tell the tale... These are extremely rare these days and most of the diesels these came from have either already been cannibalised for their cranks or it's getting harder to find these at all. This one was brought over from NZ some time ago and put in storage. For those that don't know, these are the cranks that are used to increase the stroke on our beloved L Series engines, and if you're lucky and find a good block, can bore/stroke your block for significantly more overall capacity. There are several ways to go with this, but the LD28 crank is still a great bang for buck option when compared to other cranks (billet or modified RB engine crank) to increase stroke...and the temptation to increase capacity if you're already planning on a big build, then it's an investment in the overall desirability of the build. Asking price is $1500. PS - I also have a second LD28 which has had an offset grind for extra stroke and increased capacity. If interested, please let me know. Work overseen by James at MIA in Dee Why some time ago and has been sitting in storage since then. Price/pictures on request to see if there's any interest out there... Cheers, George

    Wtb Ld28 Crank

There's one for sale currently in the For Sale section and it come tested with report attached - http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14672-nissan-ld28-crankshaft-v07/ Price might seem high but two similar cranks sold prior to it in quick succession at a similar price. I'm sure there are other members sitting on spare LD28 cranks surprised at the rising value of these units, myself included.
  7. PM sent. Very interested, great timing. Cheers.
  8. PM sent. Bringing another stroker into the world could only be a step in the right direction...
  9. Very interested. Hopefully we can make up the numbers needed.
  10. Interested in Dash if 44014 decides to pass. Can pick up directly. Cheers.
  11. I think the Peter Mc unit is a refreshed and modified VL unit or similar, but not a standard stock 280zx unit. I'm sure someone can chime in on this aspect. Know what you mean with chasing ITB's. It's really the ultimate set up - middle ground might be a custom manifold/plenum chamber and large throttle body? These can get expensive too..
  12. try this link: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,9230.0.html I found it whilst searching for info on this topic some time ago. It mentions the considerations you may need make that go past the ITB's, injectors and computer. Hope this helps a bit. Cheers.
  13. would be interested if extractors are stainless. Also, if you could post any specs such as exhaust port size at the flange, size of primaries, weight, etc. that would be great. May be interested even if they aren't stainless Cheers.
  14. what ever happened to the extractors? Did they arrive and are they available by chance?
  15. Thanks Agno, a lot of the work had been done by previous owner and he'd done well with it. Not too over the top visually but a total beast, especially once the rebuilt engine went in. Other Z owners on here would be well familiar. This predates the LS1 so needless to say, handling wasn't it's forte... The wheels were local Neale Wheels products, 10" in the rear and 8" at front rolling 265's/245's.
  16. ...and of course the interior and the heart of the car!
  17. Here are some shots of the 240Z w/V8. I'll hold off on shots of the light blue Z until I can get it back in to one piece in a couple of months. Hope you guys enjoy them at least for their old school theme, the scanned photos certainly show their age.
