Hi gents I'm selling the dash in my car, it's in good nick, no cracks, small bubble between the gauge humps. I got the vents and heater panel. I've got the gauges except for tach (faulty). Pm me your mobile for pics. Still in car for now. $600 , Western suburbs. Cheers

that's a nice car ponyo and welcome. no, i am not part of the mini club. the dog is always outside hanging out when i am working on the cars or cleaning them. make sure you come check out classic japan next sunday, usually you will find a few z guys there.

thanks for the offer mate, can only do 16s (max) at the mo. dat240z - the engineer we're using won't allow it, unless we go 5 studs. (did you have your diff changed?)

I don't know who the engineer is, we've engaged them through our mechanic. Who was your engineer?

unless i can prove that they came with different options from factory

wheel track needs to be within 25mm of original and diameter must be within 15mm of original, otherwise have to change to 5 stud for bigger wheels

there's currently 17x8 rotas rb on the car, wasn't expecting the engineer to say no, i thought the whole point of an engineer to is make sure the mods on the car are safe but meh. Just want to get the car to pass at the moment so we can buy the right style wheels. I don't understand how an RB26 gets engineered and a set of 17s can't... Kato - what wheels do you think will work? I told my mechanic to use my 16s wats but he said they were too wide so unless we go 5 studs we can't use the wider wats or the 17s..

Hi guys need to borrow a set of wheels for engineering, I tried on a set of 14s but it wouldn't clear the brakes (hilux). tried on a set of 15s (super heavies?) but they wouldn't clear the brakes. cash for inconvenience offered, will need it for a week (at most) thanks, Phil

Do you guys use Facebook? A set just got listed but they are in some ridiculous specs 14x10.5 & 14x12.5 for 1800. But I will share when I see them.

for 14s you seen them go for 600-800. 15/16s with -10/20 offset type Rs in very good condition you would get about 1300-1500 they pop up on JDM wheels sale on facebook

I'm not sure who the engineer is, good to know that they required .8 Gs cause I haven't been told of this as well. Scoota have you got a kit you could sell to me?

hi everyone My mate has put in an rb26 into his z, went to engineering and the bloke said the brakes aren't stopping the car well enough. Would the hilux upgrade be enough? any reccomendation on pads and rotors that would be the easiest way to stop the car? Been told might have to go R33 skyline calipers but the kit is about $2000 and 3 weeks wait. any advice is appreciated. thanks Phil
