  1. Looks like it in a factory being made. Beautiful mate. One question. is it mounted in the final picture or just sitting over the hoist? Is it centered if mounted?
  2. Ive got an idea ozzy79. Go get the flashest, most awesome looking fuel cap, put it on a bucket of s#$t and enter it in the summernats saying "yeah but the fuel cap is so beautiful" and see the reaction. Your last comment i wont even respond to, but seriously mods, lets filter these terrible posts.... its embarrassing!
  3. Are you deadset? is it just me or is this guy sounding like a douche?
  4. Is it a full moon? Aprils fools? or has a massive supply of smack been scored and used by this guy before his post???
  5. Im working sunday arvo, but am keen to meet up @ 9 and say gday. Is the James Court Maccas carpark big enough???
  6. No good mate, all the best.
  7. In all seriousness you wouldnt, woudl you?? ??
  8. Are your rims 17"? And have you rolled the guards? I think he was talking 17" without rolling guards, hence my coilover comment....
  9. Im guessing 5-6k
  10. Sorry, yeah by 8" wide only on a coilovered z. Otherwise stick to the 7/7.5, plenty of rubber on the road too
  11. Some people say 17x8 +4 (nothing major) I went with 17x7.5 +4 on235/45/17 and they have about a 1" lip and sit really nicely in the guards....
  12. The max you could go with stock springs, no flares etc would be a 17x8 running 235/245 at the most....

    Engineering

So had the final meeting with Wilson today for engineering. He wanted me to fix a few little issues (grommets firewall/steering rack/water washer bottle) before we did the brake tests, exhaust noise, rolling diametre, track etc. Firstly, Ill start by saying he's actually not a bad fella. No peoples skills, but with the amount of calls and enquiries he recieves I guess its his way of sorting the real ones out from the time wasters. He was really happy with the car and is writing up my Engineers Certificte as we speak. $1600. We did the brake tests on the way out to hume. He drove while I held this brake recording device thats wirelessy connected to your pedal and measures force, pressure etc. He said my Wilwoods were incredible and working perfectly. I have to remove the adjustable brake bias switch but other than that just need one or two ADR spec sheets on my seats and harnesses and its just about there. Only ACT rego, install keyless start system, lower an inch and spray from Dingo Dave.... I dont know what im going to do with my time once the build ends:(((( Or does it really ever end....
  18. Wedding this weekend? Nice good luck mate.....
  19. I believe the set I bought have the porsche cv's(or at least say so!!)? are there different sets they sell? or have they fixed some issues of late? If they are ok for up to 600hp thats ok... Regarding SW Motorsport - he's expensive but the items are quality. I got his solid race diff mount and its been super strong
  20. Awesome! Who wants to buy a complete cv set for $1000:)
  21. Hmmm, i picked up a complete and brand new Wolf Creek CV kit for 1050 incl sipping, which I thought was a great bragain. Havent installed as yet, but all looks good. Am waiting for stock shafts to go first...
  22. Hi guys, im chasing a bonnet for my 240z. Im getting the car ready for paint and am using sinishas styled bonnet vents, but also want a solid bonnet in case I want to change etc. So priority is the bonnet, and a fuel tank in good condition im after aswell. Add to that some fender mirrors, or places where I can source them please....... Thanks guys
