  1. Hey guys, Just looking for a welded R200 Longnose in 4.1 ratio or higher. Looking to pick up around Brisbane area. Cheers Zac
  2. Hey guys I'm chasing a 240Z/260Z bonnet in any condition providing it's not bent or eaten through with rust. Located Brisbane, QLD. Cheers Zac
  3. Either set is okay. I'm after the centrebore fastening clips on the back of the centrecaps!
  4. Sounds good dude, photos would be awesome.
  5. Hey guys, I'm looking for a set of 4 ZX centrecaps. Cheers Zac
  6. At the height that I run I have problems getting a 215/60-15 under the guards as it toes in so far it nearly hits the dogleg. Also I think the thread was aimed towards maximum wheel width and offset, not wheel diameter, jus' sayin.
  7. Not sure if serious. Anything over 16" makes the car look like a rollerskate
  8. Even though I'm resurrecting this thread, it might be useful for someone down the track. At minimum legal height of 100mm at the rails, a 10J -27 can fit just inside the guards legally. If you aren't scared of dropping below legal height, you can squeeze a 10.5J -47 under the guards with a guard roll and slight flare. In the front you can get an 8J -35 or 9J -20 under with no problems or camber. If you start dialing camber in you could easily fit larger.
  9. As far as I know Simon it's okay as long as you have no intention and keys aren't in the ignition. As soon as keys touch the ignition you can be done for DUI. But then again it's not like I want to fight for the right to sleep in my Z, it's ridiculously uncomfortable and freezing anyway haha. After you go triple carb, you won't want to go turbo. The sound is everything I swear. It makes the car feel faster, especially if you have an obnoxiously loud exhaust like myself. I'd love to do blow through TT triple carb setup, but being so unreliable is a massive problem. L28KAI, would be the bomb.
  10. Also thought I'd put it out there, I've slept drunk in my Z 3 times to date, twice without the t-tops on. Not all that comfortable.
  11. I have been so tempted to snap up that TT manifold for the last 6 months haha. There's another one up as well for a little cheaper but the wastegate pipe literally vents through the front quarter LOL. Don't think I'd have the police on my side if I drove around venting straight into pedestrians. Yeah in terms of height, I know your feels. I got banked at work today and had to mosh to get it moving again. Awesome when it's in 5pm traffic. There is always more room to go lower though haha. I've done S13 in the rear, pretty damn easy considering it was just swapping the top hats, in the front end, I have a friend who has played around with S13 front end into a ZX, and turns out it limits camber to ONLY positive camber, so will need a LOT of modification to actually get them in there. Personally I think the easiest way is sectioning the strut and welding in coilover sleeves.
  12. Hey man, You'll have problems both front and rear if you're running standard struts, especially with 17's afaik. How low are you going exactly? Cause it's possible to squeeze 10J -47's under the rear with a decent guard roll and low, and an 8J -37 with completely standard guards in the front. In my opinion I wouldn't go over 16's on a Z, they start to look like a rollerskate if you get too big. Good to see another ZX driver around, too bad there aren't many in QLD. Zac
  13. Update, not as good as I thought it was. Tank is 80 litres, can do around 400km on one tank. 5km/L. This is why I can't have nice things.
  14. I honestly would kill for one of these APR Wide kits for a ZX. I genuinely love them SO much.
  15. I'm ready when you are.
  16. I have been considering spark blocks, but I don't need more cop attention Those rubbing blocks would be gone in a few days, I get pretty close to getting banked on the 3 speed bumps I cross to get to uni as it is! If I go over large humps in the road at night or dusk, the rails do create a nice spark shower hahah.
  17. Is that a challenge?!
  18. 45mm at lowest point on rails.
  19. Holy crap Shaun, these are amazing. Thank you so much! Y U NO BRING YOUR Z IN?!
  20. With skirts and underspoiler, I'm so poor right now.
  21. Well... thanks man
  22. Not yet, they'll be around another 4 weeks as they're coming via sea mail, couldn't justify the extra $200 in EMS shipping. They're actually pretty damn rare I've found, never seen those centrecaps before and the cooling fins are in good condition. Also found out the actual face of the wheel is carbon fibre, so 80's!
  23. I'll be off then, to my world of life and reality!
  24. I was also born with the lust for cars, so most of my time is spent, in, around or under them
  25. Haha, thanks for the link Greg. I've never been on HybridZ but I'll have to introduce myself at least!
