Im pretty sure the edis uses a 36-1 trigger wheel with a 2 wire vr sensor. The rb30 sensor is completely different.

Grab a rb30 distributor from the wreckers, pull both apart and youll see how it goes, the side of the distributor body had to be cut out for the plug of the sensor, locked up the shaft, held the wheel on with a grub screw. It was a while ago i cant really give any more specific details. The pic will help.

You can use the standard hall effect sensor but you wont be able to run sequential injection or multi coil as it doesn't have a tdc or home reference. Ive used an rb30 optical sensor in a 280zx distributor housing and it worked quiet well. Tight fit though.

I set it up myself. Throttle bodies came from racetep, cannon manifold and linkages was about 400, made my own fuel rail with alloy extrude from efi hardware. Injectors, regulator, pump and hose you wont have much change from 2k. For engine management you can spend as much as you want, $500+

Yep, Ive set up an L28 with 45mm itb's and Haltech ecu. Cant beat the power and tuneability of injection. The engine is now in Vorns 240z, checkout his build thread.

Hey im wrecking a 280zx, red trim, the interior is a bit rough, take a pic of the bit you need.

No back seat boot trims, it still got the dash, carpet, front seats, door trims, hood lining, alot of the plastic is brittle, seats are in good condition.

Manual conversion parts have been sold, the 280zx rolling shell is free.

Cheapest dizzy option would be fitting a rb30 optical cas to the 280zx distributor housing, works perfect.

The P90 has been sold, dropped the price on the Watanabes.

Everyone knows what Watanabes look like. Can get more detailed pics for whoever is seriously interested.

P90 cylinder head, there are a couple of small bits of corrosion around the water galleries that would need to be repaired, a couple of sticky valves because its been sitting, but a good start if building up a head. Threads look good, comes as pictured.

-Watanabe RS, 16x9 -13, 16x9.5 -19, Toyo Proxes T1-R 225/50 245/45. Tyres and front rims never used, rear rims have been used but in really good condition. $2400 280zx, was driving the car around 12 months ago, no engine, gearbox, diff, shafts, pedal box. Its too good to scrap so im giving it away, Pickup only from Balaklava. Engine and ITB setup has been sold. P90 has been sold.

Selling a couple of bumpers and a few sets of bumper over-riders. Rear bar is in pretty good condition, front one would need a bit of work to straighten. Both have been painted. I've also got a box of overriders, some in really good nick others rusted but you would get a set out of them. Selling to raise funds for my 240. $150 for the lot.

Was good to meet the crew, put some names to faces, or faces to names. I was surprised by some of the numbers on the dyno, including my old girl. Thanks Paul, was a good show.

Alright, ill be coming in my 280zx, got it out the shed and started it up this arvo, sounds good. Ill bring a mate also. Do you want me to bring anything, Carton of coke on ice? Beer?
