Hey guys i was just after some advice on what route i should take.
I have a 260z 2+2 that came with a dodgy sunroof resulting in a big warp in the roof. I dont care too much about having a sunroof or not so should i just buy a replacement turret or get a sunroof made.
And if i do take the sunroof choice, are there any kits that are known to fit a zed? E.G rx7 sunroofs?
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Thanks again
Thinking of ordering 'ground control coilovers' from this website. http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/gc6020-01
Has anyone had any experience with this company or this product before?
i would love some reassurance before i go ahead with the purchase.
Many thanks
Well im not even sure what the karma even does for me so im trying to forget about that for now.
Also, concidering the AUS dollar is soo freekin' high at the moment i dont really mind buying them from US ebay.
I also met a guy at Lakeside raceway the other weekend who had a rather interesting fuel setup.
With hoses leaving the firewall to the carbies it was meant to keep fuel pressure up during accelleration (from G forces pushing fuel back) by keeping all the hoses the same length.
Im sure theres much more to this setup but i cant remember off the top of my head.

i know im probably too late but i have just succesfully soda blasted my car to bare metal. using 19psi, baking soda (bought in bulk from a pet shop because apperently horses eat it) and a custom hopper i made i can take off 1 layer of paint off at a time without damaging the metal. very cheap just a bit messy!
wow thankyou and yes i believe some beers would be in order for such a job haha
and as im just starting off modifying my Z ive been hearing alot of things but what is an r200 driff?
Ok to start off i have a l26. Secondly how much just for the stronger rb box? i dont think i need the short ratios its just a daily. Thirdly do i need to rebalance/shorten the drive shaft? and would i need to change the diff ratios?
alot of questions i know
Thanks.

i towed a 260z bus from sunshine coast to gold coast with a old kia sportage. thats a 4 cylinder 2L through the hinterland aswell didnt break a sweat. it has a one tonne towe package and it still did close to 2 tonne
heyy guys.
ive got some mould on flares that arent installed but i plan to fill them out with some nice wide watanabes. but as we all know watanabes cost an arm and a sister so ive gone for the alternitive. knock offs.
i dont want to spend the money on knock offs if they are not going to fill out my guards. im prepared to do some cutting and fiberglass work to help the flares sit nice with the wheels but i need to the minimum width (if you must) to fill out the guards. its a big question and any help will be hugely appreciated.
thankyou
please please please tell me you havent sold them.
if you havent i will buy them and i live on the gold coast.
please tell me you havent sold them ahah
Aaron.
ok thanks six_shooter
once its road worthy and registered ill take it down to my suspension place and get them to fit some nice heavy duty strut braces
i think i might go staggered with 9inch up front and 9.5 at the rear but ive heard some nasty stories about understeer from staggered fitments.
could anyone recomend some tyre measurements that could help me out
btw i have flares waiting to be put on so width isnt really an issue
i currently own a 1976 datsun 260z 2+2 and im buying some wheels
watanabe style 17x9.5 all round with the appropriate sticky rubber
seeing as though im only 15 and i dont have that much driving experience i was wondering if i should invest in a powersteering rack due the wheels size or will the stock power steering be ok?
any help will be greatly appreciated. cheers.
