a) coilover are OK for Roadworthy b) sectioning not ok BUT very hard to tell once conversion is done. I reckon a good chance to get away with it (each person should make their own judgement call on that though) no and no they dont pass unless your lucky cutting and welding requires engineering

hmm thats sucks mine came out with the help of the blow torch and hammer got more parts genuine Nissan s1 rear brake 280zx seal kit and other brand 260z seal kit

maybe some pics my shell was said to be rust free but was not

thats easy undo bolt in the middle then two side ones use a hammer knock out the bolt in between arm put a pin punch on it hammer until bar comes out took ages maybe some wd40 will make it easier for you
