  1. Pulsar GTIR!!!!!!
  2. +1 for the mx5. They are reliable and economical as any econobox yet they have style and performance. No good for 4-5 passengers. But let the others fend for themselves. It's a good excuse for avoiding being a taxi driver.
  3. it was still operating a few months ago. But anything is possible.
  4. Excellent idea. I will be happy when a basketball flows straight through
  5. I think because the show was free their budget would therefore be very small so advertising suffered as a result. But thats just my take on it. They were taking down Emails, so I think next time they will be able to get the word out more effectively.
  6. I have a hatch done by Alfa. It is not the best. It bulges a bit at the top (doesn't follow the roof line) and doesn't seel properly either. I am happy with it because mine is a race car but for a road / show car I recommend getting a better one.
  7. I only found out a couple of days before. I was just lucky I didn't have any plans.
  8. Yeah, it was a great day and an excellent zed turnout even if there was very little communication.

    Qld zed runs x2

Hey guys, the qld club is holding a run to stanthorpe on the last weekend of July. The wine tasting is fully booked up. But you still might like to come for the drive or even just meet us at the start to see the cars. Also I am thinking we should have another informal run. Maybe to one of those qld roads listed in the "Aussie best roads" thread. Any thoughts?
  10. I love that photo. Kinda reminds me of those people that slice dead things into 100 slices....remind me to keep my dog away from you Seriously though it really illustrates the safe areas for working.
  11. I'm thinking of installing an entire mirrored wall in my workshop. That way when I walk in it will feel like I have twice as many zeds in there. Come to think of it, if I install two mirrored walls oposite each other it will be like an endless supply
  12. I have a spare for $10 plus postage if you can't find a local option.
  13. Get the peddles from a wreck. But it's hardly worth the trouble for the mc. Buy a new one.
  14. oh great, now I have a mental image of lurch spilling hot oil on his crotch, letting out a squeal, quickly placing his gloved hand to protect his groin from further burns, spinning on the balls of his feet to face away from the source of the oil but then having to tip his white panama hat because he is now facing the sun.
  15. I wouldn't bother with the gloves. If I can manage to do it without burning myself anyone can. Plus it would make the job a lot more dificult
  16. I never used to believe in Santa but I am now converted. Came home tonight after grocery shopping and someone has left a 240z door window leaning against my fence. Its great becaue I need a set to take to the perspex place to get some copies shaped up. It saves me 50% of the effort, having to take mine out of the car
  17. Wow they are making the 260z again and look at the tyres they picked!! I love it http://car.4hustling.com/m/8_9CA0eD3yg/
  18. This guy registered to my Youtube vids. He has a heap of his own and they are very very JDM http://www.youtube.com/user/garageyyss#p/u/20/Iy5zC1Lu648
  19. Stevo, and others. Here is a page to print so you can keep track of what you have done / yet to do. Forgive me if you already have it. 16201_4508a326b58b6d5e72d7eb0f5aeed27f5d74c732.doc
  20. Steve, I just did my 280zx yesterday. Assuming it is only the adjustment we can do it some time. The only tricky bit is knowing what cam you have.....but I think yours is standard right?
  21. Make a list of every bowls club and RSL in Australia. Then allocated them out to all the forum members to go and check. I'm sure it will be at one of them.
  22. I think we know of a good marketing shot if your business involves selling bollards
  23. Be very careful. There are multiple variations on the ECU and harness. There are definate diferences in the pin layout. I have been caught out on this before. In other words you might get a diagram that leads you in the wrong direction. I know that the two ECUs I had were missing pins from different positions. I don't know if it is a garuntee but if you note the missing pins from the ECU we might be able to validate that it matches the diagram. I do have some diagrams.
  24. Eyeeee, Me be thinking you need to stop too.....or its off the plank with yee. hmmm, well I haven't done it but I know what you mean. They are just felt with some sort of wood or firm cardboard stapled on. It would be easy enough to make replacements. But you either need a stapler strong enough to penetrate the metal part at the top of the door cards or you need to glue them on. The other question is what to use for the material to support the felt? I'd be tempted to modify one from another car. IE shorten one form a 280zx or something.
