Would like gone. open to offers. I was certain someone would want this instead of taking there own car off the road, pulling out the dash and waiting two months to get it restored at the same price? postage was only $50 from sydney to hobart so that gives a rough idea on postage costs.

I have a dashboard which i recently had recovered by the dash doctors in sydney. has no gauges, or glove box lid. Model: 260z 2+2, Location: Hobart, Tasmania Item Condition: In fair condition but would best suit someone looking to restore a car for the reasons listed below. Body: The body is in very good condition, however recently had painted, which has turned out pretty average. The engine bay has not been painted yet so therefore is a different colour :-\ The body does not seem to have much visible rust; I have photos from before the paint job to prove. Mechanical: L28 engine, runs every time though needs a little attention and tune. Brand new battery included and box of 10 new spark plugs. Gearbox slips out of 5th when accelerating, however new gear boxes are not that hard to come by. Registration: Car is unregistered and will need to go over the pits as it has passed the 3 month renewal period. Extra Info: Interior is a bit dodge but i have various seals (front window seal, bailey channels etc.) lying around which I have not had time to install yet. Speedhut gauge faces are also installed. I also have a restored dashboard from the dashboard doctors sitting in the shed which will be sold with the car. Comes with 16x8 Superlites, in very condition. Finally got around to buying a new battery the other day, so managed to get the car into the sun for the first time since painting. Could only load up this crappy photo due to file size limits. But the paint is okay..... aslong as you dont get to close :-\ However after all that im considering selling, so if anyone in tassie is interested? otherwise the next project is to install the new dashboard sitting in the shed.

i little off topic but are door belt rubbers as shown on rarespares the ones that go on top of the door? to help hold the window in position? in my 2+2 one attaches itself to the door card (has a soft metal backing on the rubber) and the other to the outer skin of the door, and i need to replace them.

not sure if its relevant to just cars but can you post up info on your whole trip? the good bits and bad bits? as im planning on going over there next year. Cheers

went down to micks the other week, one of the best things i have done this year i blew out at how many zeds he had! i grabbed a couple badges off him and he had a whole box of asorted z badges! i will definatly head back there when in need of parts as he is a top bloke.....

Finally picked the car up from the body shop today!! ran a bit rich but i think i just need to adjust the choke, i think its sticking. will post up some photos when i get a chance to get it out in the sunlight (sun=rare in tasmania)

is the airdam ment to sort of rise in the middle? or is it just the photo? ....awsome car btw

The original post members location is the U.S so id say his steering wheel is also located on the wrong side of the car. and there is a good sticky posted on the link above detailing the rb26 swap
