i actually went to this foam and rubber place and bought a few meters of stuff they had and it fits pretty much perfect, it was the rite width and all i had to do was cut it to length and cut out a whole for where the quarter window slots into the top car

yeah mentioned your name yeah well he said he is busy for a few weeks but im going to try and con him into starting on mine soon, as i want it before xmas (unlikely).

haha yeah he loved the car. umm $80 an hour for the soda blasting, and then $30 per hour for paint and prep etc. so all up a few grand which i think is pretty good but that includes the whole car, engine bay, doors etc

yeah went and seen ben stone on the weekedn, had a big talk and he sounds real good. he says that because i wish to go another colour and because of the state the paint is atm i should just go bare to bare metal.

im planning on painting my 260 2+2 in a week or two and i have a couple questions.... 1)ive read up a few topics about media blasting etc vs soda blasting and it looks to me like soda blasting has less risks of damage and etc. but just wanted to know whats the downsides to it? 2) im also thinknig about painting the z a san marino blue http://motormavens.com/2009/07/center-stage-z-one-and-only/ and just need some opinions on yes or no?

yeah i think its the same bit your talking about, hte bit im after sort od laps under the main door seal. warren at allz just said that they only came out factory and to get replacements costs more then its worth so im just leaving it

im looking for the rubber seal that goes along above the rear q window and door, its attached to the body and is about 1.5 -2 meters long. http://www.blackdragonauto.com/icatalog/z/full.aspx?Page=59 its called the door sash weatherstrip on the above catalog. id love to get these as soon as possible so i can start putting the other rubbers back in. so contact on 0448519390

installing was pretty easy, just annoying taking out the gauges and putting them back into the dash. there is an guide thread somewhere on here on either the speedo or tacho there is sometimes a small pin that holds the needle at 0, and i had to make a hole in my face plate which i was scared would wreck it but it worked out alrite but maybe u could get them to do that 4 u. havnt painted the needles but that would be easy enough, i can see them very clear compared to the stock gauges because the face plates are very bright.

i have speed hut gauges, easy to install, and they can change to km per hour and change the oil and etc measurements, just make sure u mention it in comments when you order.

i have bought a fair bit off warren over the last week or two and everything he doesnt have in stock, he seems to be getting in soon (must get a lot of deliveries). and he puts alot of care into postage which is awsome service

Mr 240, have you bought these locks from niceproducts? im idealy looking to end up with one key for boot, doors and ignition. but it seems nowhere does complete sets, just doors and ignition as one and boot as another key? anyone found different?

doubt its damage due to it being on all 4 wheels. will measure tomorrow, i need to buy new w.nuts anyway due to the current ones being to fat and near impossible to get a brace in

just a quick question. i have some performance superlites on my 2+2, and the other day i took one off due to a flat and noticed the wheel studs have been grinded shorter. im just stressed about the wheel nuts being being held on by less thread. can someone plz tell me why the previous owner would of done this??
