Moving along nicely.... Re: Battery relocation to the rear is fine as long as your considering a suitable holding frame, a battery box, terminal pads and battery blue sprayed on your connections.... a modification Ive done many times on my own vehicles, works well.... -

So your 79 belt is rat sh*t and your after a replacement which could be in the same condition............ Ive always had a view on the purchase of second hand seat belts and those who sell them............... Why not do yourself a favour and spend the few dollars it will cost to save your or someones elses..... LIFE.....and buy a new set...

Hi Tony... Welcome to the fun house...good to see another 280zx fan.. I run a 1979 fully refurbed from tip to toe and all in between...mine as was yours was in a state of less then favourable condition.. Excellent job judging by your pics.. look forward to more info as you go

I must agree with Chris240 on this one....however, any good system upgrade will fit, but you'll need a loom adaptor from JB HI FI or the like to plug your head unit in and you may need to modify your console fascia slightly I'm running 6 speakers in mine with a 10 stack changer and amp....

This is probably the shortest, most direct and valid response I read....... I have limited free time these days due to my work schedule, but I always log on and have a look and a read...... Pocket Trader, Quokka, Auto Trader. Classifieds in any paper...no membership required..you want to sell... you sell, you want to buy... you buy Ghosts..... one thing I have noticed however is that many members seem to have vanished or are just not active anymore....people come and people go... lets not become elitist -

Any Auto parts store even Kmart carry battery hold down clamp assemblys. measure your battery cradle for correct size battery including height and go from there, or you can custom make your own using alloy flat bar and booker rod
