  1. Bump If not they're going on dreaded ebay!
  2. I found these out in my girlfriend's mother's garage. They were on an old bluebird and have been sitting for years. See pic for condition, but they will need a decent clean and new tires all round. Not sure of rim size and dimensions (I've yet to read Sulio's thread on wheel size, so I have no idea!) They're not mine so I'm open to offers. Pickup in Canberra, may frieght if you really really really want to. Cheap rims!
  3. Slightly off topic, but for any gaming nerds there's a database for that too! http://www.igcd.net/vehicles.php?make=Datsun&model=240z&width=1024
  4. An accurate model of an unrestored 240Z http://www.roadgodz.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1527 The rust awesome! (There's a line from a Z owner you thought you'd NEVER hear!!!)

    Awesome, thanks Scott.

    Car Trailer

Yeah that'd be good. I was probably going to go SelfMove in Queanbeyan if I couldn't find a freebie, I think it's around $120 per day.

    Car Trailer

Does anyone in ACT have (or know where I can get) a car trailer that i can borrow for a day? I'm involved an a short film and we need an old wreck - so far we've scored a free 70's BMW in Nowra, hence needing a trailer. PS if you know of a free wreck locally, please let me know! It could save me a drive to Nowra. We're looking for an older european models: BMW, Mercedes, Lada, Citreon etc etc Thanks!
  10. I've actually got my first Soccer game of the season at 1pm, so maybe I can meet up with you guys after? Either that or we make the cruise a little later? Chris can you PM me your address?
  11. Yep 18th is good for me
  12. Ha ha, well you have a choice of white or matte black! Chris, I should be able to come for a quick drive this Saturday - I'll probably need a break from masking and spraying!
  13. Yep sounds great, totally keen. I'm painting a Kombi this weekend, and I'm in Sydney the next weekend, easter is the next one... Maybe you name a date and I'll try get there!!
  14. That's a mechanic's car, works out in Fyshwick. Previously an aeronautical engineer. My mate had his GTR worked on by him, fitted his turbos and mounted the engine. Not too sure exact power, but is around the 700kw mark. He reckon's it's on the limit of pump fuel.
  15. h264 is teh way to go. But if you have no sound, it could be that Pinnacle doesn't support or cannot recognise your sound card - maybe do a driver update on the soundcard, it may fix it. Personally Final Cut is my preference, but if you're on PC Adobe Prem is fairly similar and probably the next best option. I have CS2 I think, I'll have to double check when I get home. If you still have issues PM and we'll try sort something out. Avid is also a good solid package, but fairly $$$
  16. I wish I could've come! Looks like there were some nice rides there.
  17. I like the colour! Welcome to the site, there's a few 280zx members here who'll probably have heaps of info for you. Designing cars would be my second choice as a career, good luck with it!
  18. Unfortunately I cannot make the show this weekend, I have a very sick family member in Moss Vale and it may be the last chance i get to visit her. Take plenty of pictures though, and I'm super keen to see Dorifticon's red 260Z, as well as Scott's new paint job! We should maybe meet for a small cruise on a month or so?
  19. Well, the original plan was to keep the 240Z as a weekend car - but I can't seem to stop driving her! But come winter I've got a few plans and she'll be tucked away in the warm shed being tinkered on - rust and interior first on the list. Currently my daily is a Z31, which so far has cost me more in maintenance than my 240Z, working on those things is a b!tch... but it's a Z and I love her dearly, and tend to not too look at the receipt folder's thickness!!! My other option is my housemate's Kombi - we work together and commute everyday, so we have a selection of cars to choose from every morning! Then if all else fails, there's my girlfriends Celica.
  20. Ah! That's where I saw it! Nice colour. It'd be great to see her at the event.
  21. Yes definitely - totally badass. Some matte black rims and a dark tint - I'd be scared to pull up next to you!!
  22. I'm glad I'm not fluent in Japanese, just so I can't read the price tags on these cars! I'd love mine to look like the yellow one (with an interior though) - one day soon! http://www.rockyauto.co.jp/stock/detail.php?id=8104
  23. Hey Dorifticon, yours insn't a metalic red one is it? I vaguely remember a project thread somewhere of a 260z in canberra (not on this site, somewhere else)
  24. I remember our brief conversation at Thredbo about which wheels you were tossing up between - I think you've made a great choice! They complement the paintwork nicely!
  25. Well I have the super 8 camera as well!
