I have a miniDV camera and digital SLR. I also had a rumage through some of my old camera equipment from Uni and found a bunch of super8mm cameras and film stock! I'll bring that along too and hopefully capture some Zeds in a historically correct format! They're old cameras, but they were tested last year and produced some fairly good pictures.

I'm planning to arrive 8:30ish on Friday night - any idea where you guys will be around then? I guess we'll book in at the hotel and then meet up either at the restaurant or the bistro? Chris I might give you a buzz when we arrive if that's okay?

I just missed Scott - I saw his ride at the Commonwealth Ave/Parliament house intersection traffic lights on my way to the Yacht club, so I missed him by minutes! Looked pretty nice from where I was. Chris has some photos I think.

Yeah sounds good. My friend works at Bentham Street Pizza - but I'm not sure what it's like. As longs as there's beers and a few seats and soe good pizza, I'll be happy!

I got a new slave fro $33. Problem is getting the master recoed (though looks completely fine and doesn't leak) before Thredbo! Any ideas where to get locally ACT boys? I couldn't get the slave anywhere here, had to get it from Adelaide.

My clutch slave has been leaking a for a while, and I'm now replacing it this weekend. Just a quick question - should I replace the clutch master cylinder too, or am I safe just replacing the slave? I remember reading somewhere that replacing one will cause increase wear/damage to the unreplaced old part. It's no issue really, just might save me a few $$$ if I don't have to buy a clutch master!

I didn't see any posts with Adelaide Z Cars in the title, so I assume they're arent listed here? I've bought a few parts from these guys (Nick and Barry) for both my 240Z and Z31. The have a quite a range of wrecked parts, which are usually hard to find - like brake clips for my Z31. They're relatively cheap, offer a limited warranty on wrecked parts, and are a pleasure to deal with. Also they post anywhere on time. Anyone else had dealings with these guys? My old man was going through some old slides and he came across some of his old 260Z 2+2. Ever since I was a kid he'd tell me all about his Z and all the great times he had in it - including his atempt at breaking 200km/h in the desert somewhere. I dare say he didn't make it, but he likes to say otherwise!! From these snow photos I can only imagine the rust from salty roads, and the poor guy 20 years later trying to cut it all out! Anyway, I thought I'd post them for you guys to have a look. (The white 2 seater was his mate's car)

Search this forum and you'll find a fair bit of information.... $3,000 for one is cheap. If it's a 2 seater, it'll be a restoration for sure. A 2+2 you'll be able to drive it home, but will probably still need a bunch of work for a roadworthy cert. I'm not really sure you intentions for the car, and whether $3,000 is your total budget, or just the initial budget with plans to spend more (which is inevitable)

Nice wheels! Every now and then I look at mine and think my wheels are slightly too small - I might go a bigger tyre size when these are worn. What happened to the stock mags Chris? And the Stock wheel?! Are you still keen on keeping it stock, or have you got bigger (and faster) plans for her?
