Haha I tried... didn't quite manage to stay with Simon though... (He beat me but good). He said he's finally managed to get it to the point where he's happy with the way everything is working on his car. It's no slouch on the straights or the corners! Great fun trying to keep up! While we were having a chat once everyone had arrived a red Pantera showed up and the owner with a little boy hopped out and spoke with us for a while which was really nice. He'd put twin-turbos onto his 351 Cleveland V8!! Sadly my camera phone's camera function is dying and one out of every 6 tries actually took a photo so I didn't end up taking a picture of it. I may have kinda-sorta twisted Chris's arm to take pictures with his camera that he had...

I had a great time, the drive was fantastic and Chris cooks a mean barbie!

Now isn't that amazing... Geez you wonder how much dodgy auto guys end up costing you in the end hey...

As Chris said, an amazing show - so many different cars from all walks of life, there was something for everyone. Lots of people were eying over the Z's and I met a lovely bloke from Cooma who used to have a '73 Z. He gave me some advice - 'grab some rear swaybars, they improve the handling very much' - and it was nice to wander around on a quite pleasant day. I'll post pics soon.

I'll have my mobile so you guys can call me when you get there, I'll turn up at 0700. All we have to do is turn up and follow the directions of the marshals. They will have a spot picked out for us and will direct us there. I don't know what the location is, probably with the rest of the Japanese cars in section A. So: Drive to section A Lawn A: Entry via drive way opposite Questacon, off King Edward Terrace Rd Talk to marshals to find out where we go Park with Z cars If you have any trouble give me a call.
