i dont think anyone is ragging on this car. its not my cup of tea at all (so maybe im ragging ), so i have no knowledge of what these can fetch or what they deserve. $60000 is €35000, which sounds a lot. maybe this particular one has a special history, maybe one bidder was a previous owner and wants it back really bad. i dont know. but it seems to be an extreme price considering the abuse i got for what i paid for my Z and i was nowhere near this price and mine is in great condition. i think i understand where nato is coming from as so many people are quick to pick apart a motor and find all kinds of annoying discrepancies that only matter to anal folks. now, although they have their place, some can be a bit over the top in their righteousness of perfection and purity and just shit all over anything less. think we need to cool off here... so heres a smiley man in sunglasses

if shes jap domestic, its a "fairlady Z" and probably would have had a 2.0 litre originally like mine. but like mine i call it a 280Z as ive an L28 in it too, although mines 3.0litre too, but calling it a 300Z is a bit much. dont know where they thought of the X in it though

of course, every note on each car will be accompanied by pictures of the said car. where do these pics come from? random internet downloads? if so, try to get actual examples too and in varying conditions. so say youre writing up the piece on the first celica, well internet pics and then if you knew someone with one, put her pic up too. even if shes not showroom. maybe that would be good too, standard, immaculate and crap pics of cars to show their varying states. im not telling you what to do, or "suggesting strongly", i hate when people do that. you can wipe your arse with this post if you please. i was just thinking, thats all!

its always nice to see the old datsun doing well. people far too often have a habit of only possessing a short term memory and as a result, make any best of list useless. in english, the datsun must have had a serious influence to still be respected today. @gav240z, as you were saying elsewhere, they are deffo becoming more desirable and have finally gotten to a stage where her classic looks are again wanted

its old, dunno what month, but i saw the length of your number and was wondering if i could get a shorter one. was thinking of a 3 digit number. short and snappy! do you just go to the license registration place and say "can i have an old plate?" then can you pick your number? cause vanity plates arent really legal in ireland, so im curious

em, im new here (thick), how do i get to revs gallery?

ive only been told that the arches are intact. i have not received the car yet so cannot find out any more. but after reading some comments, she feels like its sitting high. maybe thats the look, maybe its because of the arches. id like the wheels to fill her out. make it look "phat" as they say in the hood! @mayhem, ill check out that gallery later

ive the bolt on flares on mine and have been told that the original arches have not been cut. now, others have mentioned how the jap boys put in hard springs and raise the arse so the wheels wont hit the arch. just realised that mine does have a slightly high arse and would prefer her to sit lower, but im not sure how hard the ride is.
