I would like to keep it removable so i was thinking A Painted Alluminium panel That uses 4 hood pins to secure it down with some sort of rubber to stop leakage.. Any ideas?

Ah, Very intersted in the bonnet Look Rev, Since i got a lot of dust in the bonnet >< Had mates over Got talking and left garage door open with wet 2 pack paint drying - woops Im abit worried itll glare abit much aswell, I take it this is like a Printed Vinyl Just like i use all the time at work - Like your stripes on your zed? Small update on a few things, Looks like the zed will be Flared with Rb's Running Tripple dellortos Rather then a turbo setup, - Abit Technical for me to do.. Will be retaining Steel guards/doors rather then going Fibreglass, Just to be on the safe side, Will be running a Rollcage that ill bed and tac, then go of to get tig welded before sprayed and thrown in, Will span from Back of front seats up along roofline down to behind the taillights where it will loop around , On the way it will cross at the roof, Then down past the rear glass And also connect via strut towers Will be going Recaro/s or the like with Racing harness of the strut bar + Standard seatbelts as per Vicroads Laws, - Standard lapsash will have a velcro strap or something to hold them along the pillar when not in use, Will be remodeling the exaust from diff back to go straight up the middle, or Duel twin pipes from extractors back depending on how it looks + Cost Will have 3 Lean/Rich Guages mounted on the Cowel panel infront of the windscreen - One for each carbie, All this before the Tassie Targa trip Next year, - Should come close xD!

May sound strange or stupid guys but i was chatting to a mate that told me he used to run a V8 Commodore alternator in his Dato 200b, I have a Reco alternator from my brothers old VH Commodore, Whats stopping me throwing that in? oO Any help would be appreciated guys, Just that im currently using the 40 amp alternator and Electric fuel pump,Electronic ignition, Headlights,Wipers,Radio And the thermo running im currently running the battery pretty flat >< Thanks gus - Mick

Just so happens our's are on the same day, Bet you spent your better then mine, I drove back from work in the zed, Caught in traffic then was Run up the ass by a fibreglass VK Brocky replica Lol. Yep 2 commodores in a week, Just fantastic, Zeds fine, Scratched up but fine, His VK Front end all caved in about 2-3 inchs, (He went passed the bumper to hit the tailights/exaust pipe >< Felt real sorry for him hwen he went to open the bonnet and Watched it Crumble in his hands... Anyway Nice work dude - Michael

I Know And I Hate having one, P/o Threw it on, its disgraceful >< But one thing that is good is its Set up in 3 Places, - 6 into 1 3inch Extractors, Then goes into 2.5" threw one hotdog, Then joins just before the diff into a Squiggly Bend Threw to the Cannon -ew Yuck xP So im headed to the exaust place soon to get a Stocky Piece made for the end And also a Straight threw Piece so itll be interchangeable depending on mood/ Situation All this until i can go Twin pipes from Extractors back in Stainless =]

Don't Be worried that Selling a car Unroadworthy will get you much less money For his wife, Most Zeds around are sold (Mostly to members here i'd say) Unregistered as they are a 30+ year old car and Prone to Rust/ware, Either way some pics thrown up on Here would be the best bet as there is always a new member looking for there first Zed, Or Someone looking to add to there Collection, Either way dude, the People here will give you a Fairly Accuarate indication of roughly how much the cars worth Pretty quickly. - there are some Extreamly knowledgeable Members one here. It Might be Silly I agree, But having seen some of the cars my mates drive, / How, I Actually Fell more In control/Safe In the zed then i do in any other car I've Driven, Not saying im Overconfident ie hoon, Just i know if im sitting on 100 and an accident happens on the road right infront of me i Know That ive got as good a chance of avoiding it if not better then most cars on the road, May be completely Misguided , But thats how i feel, Being my zeds so stiff, I dunno anyway just the way it is, I Say hey, Buy a zed if you can dude, Just realise it is something Different And theres not many left so take care of it mate ^^ By the way if Speed is an Issue, A Stroker L28 is always going to be fast enough

Hey guys, Driving the zed into work this morning from Broadmeadows to Cheltenham, As i usually now do, Sitting at a set of lights on south road Waiting for the lights to change some Dude in his Red VS Commodore Decided he would brake late, And Give me a Well and good nudge up the ass, After being stunned for a second and Jolting forward ( Was in gear with clutch in dah dah ) Stunned to still see a red lihg ti got out to Inspect that damage As soon as i got half way out the car hes already pulled back and Taken off Almost collecting me As i was getting out of the zed, i Quickly checked the Tailights To check if they had been rooted "In which case i would have gone insane ><!! But luckly the good old metal bumper Saved the lights, Although paint and The bumper itself are pretty rooted, -.-' Anyway First Smick of Anysort of Incident In the zed other than being run off the freeway by a B-double, that never even saw me -.- Pretty annoyed >< Just lucky i suppose being im going carbon Bumpers and Plan on Respraying the zed come tax time again, But still -.-'!
