  1. If you broke up with a girlfriend within the period that it didn't start crank it over a few times with a socket on the pulley to make sure she didn't stuff anything into the spark plug holes. Them females can be crafty types!
  2. Pray! No seriously i like to account for variables. Have a fire extinguisher and a planned exit. Am i making you nervous yet?
  3. Got every receipt in my folder. I went with a single extreme dynamat pack which did from the firewall to the back seat. Was $198 delivered. I could not tell you how much time i spent on ebay but 80% of the car came from there. Oh i have a spare motor as well that had $2800 on parts and machining that i swapped for my Peavey PA system but that's still sitting in the shed.

  5. My V8 conversion i wanted to do for 5 Grand, came in at 6 grand but included black interior with dynamat and new carpet, lots of chrome, brake upgrade and a satin black paint scheme. Did all the work myself but it'll still cost me minimum $2200 to engineer and roadworthy. I've said it before that in my opinion it's better to try something and fail at it then not try at all. I like the road less travelled.
  6. Would that be Capital Datsun or as you wrote it.?
  7. I've got the first batch ordered of 8 Ballarat Datsun and 8 Peter Stevens Datsun. As soon as they arrive i'll post up a photo.
  8. They still look new but they didn't come with rubbers. I just used the ones i had. They didn't have the panels inside them but they can be fitted.
  9. I bought the ebay type us spec ones back in 2007. Perfect fit and cast a really retro light in the evening.
  10. I'm sure i have a set here!
  11. For Sure!
  12. Oh you just need to replace your under dash wiring loom then. Dimitri has a tonne of them.
  13. Yep, jump all up on that deal!!
  14. Perhaps i could come down and take a look at your Zed.
  15. OMG he's back! Thought we had lost you for a while there. (oh we did) Love the stance of her. Since you've been gone i built one of these with a Cleveland V8 so yea it's been a while.
  16. Yes they will fit, they look very pretty! Linkage to the firewall may need to be shorter and you can remove your standard fuel rail and run a line straight to it.
  17. Welcome!! Paul's post shoud be saved as the intro template. With a 280Zed like yours i can see why you think like that!!
  18. Sorry i don't understand the question.
  19. At the bottom of this post you can see the link to my Facebook page Street Weapon Restorations. Follow that and you'll see all the liked pages on there are the builds that i've done over the last 2 Years.
  20. I'm up to $5500 fitting a 302 Cleveland to a 260Z 2+2 and i'm up to bodywork and paint. I've done all the labour myself. After this step it'll be $800 - $1500 for engineering report. I obtained everything for the best price possible, swapped labour for parts, spent ages on ebay bidding and so on. Getting close to 1000 hours on the build now stretched out over 2 years. If i had've stuck with an l series engine it would be on the road now but that's hardly the point. The largest cost was under the hood but it all adds up and if i couldn't have done the work myself i would be up for another $30000.
  21. Perhaps post up more photos, even one where it can actually be seen would be good. Rust repair on one of these can run to 250 Hours.
  22. oooooOoooo should've got your flame suit out.
  23. Yep that'll fit.
  24. Sounds great. Would it be possible to post up a pic.?
