    Thanks guys Gav, man I miss that car, it was mint, and I never really got to enjoy it. Certainly should have kept it. What was I thinking? Incidentally... I went and looked at this beasty today - fresh import. Pretty neat car. Anyway, back to the Z. Anyone got one, shoot me a PM =]

    Hi all Well it's been 10 years since I sold my 240Z. Owned a few cars since then but none have had such charm as the original Z. I'm ready to get back into one. Have been looking at the market for a few months patiently but nothing fits the bill just yet. I have budget for the right car - thought I may as well post a wanted ad in case anyone here is feeling silly enough to consider selling theirs PM me! Thanks

    In 2002 when I had my Z I looked for a plate in QLD, "DATSUN" was still available!! Unfortunately plates up there cost $2k and I couldn't afford it. Needless to say they're gone now... but damn, good plate

    I ordered the same white one and an orange with black bonnet Can't wait. Ya I'm in Melb (Glen Iris) now. It's pretty awesome! Hopefully I can make it down to the Nats at easter to perve on some of the cars. I collect 1:18 cars so already have the C110 of course It is a very very good model. Also have a white 240ZG. Zedeven are you inferring that you'd prefer a white one to maroon? If so, I'd be happy to swap!! (seriously) The Jada "Initial D" cars aren't really that good. Kyosho is good but not quite right... Get an AUTOART R32 - they are the best.

When they designed the car, they used anthropometric data collected from the US servicemen stationed in Japan to design the cockpit to fit all those tall Westerners. They added 2 inches to the roof, much to the dismay of lead designer Matsuo's dismay! Anyway, get him to sit in one

    Up in QLD I had Suncorp-Metway take care of me with my 240Z. It was about $400 a year for comprehensive. Very nice! I am with Shannon's now with this car. Sorry to hear of all the negative experiences but mine was excellent. I was 21 when I got insured and after explaining my car and my passion to them they were happy to insure me. Under $1000 a year for comprehensive with a $15,000 value. I'd recommend them...
