hahah interesting i've had this too but in reverse. if revs are below 4,500rpm then lights are fine. but once the revs pass that mark then my main driving lights go all dim. It's like a notch above parket but still very dim. even high beam is dim. It use to correct it self after i'd stop driving it over night........but now it's always there. very odd........alternator seems to be in ok nick and charging correct volts. i've looked at my fuse box and all seems fine.....i'll clean them up so you suggest......... I hate wiring problems....argh.

can anyone please help with this? I need one to get the painting underway. Cheers, Will.

what did Kim quote you for the spray and body work?

got it out last nite guys..............had to be heavy handed to take off the inner covers.........then some screws for the inner aluminium rails. From the outside nudge the frame up off the roof of the car and it slowly comes loose. Once loose just push it to one side and pull the thing out. worked out well.............THANK GOD.

Kinda stuck...........can't see any screws to take off and can't take off the interior plastic cover.......anyone with a similar one who can help?

I have to do this tonite actually........don't you just lift up the seals from the inside and slowly push the window out?

Hi guys, I've had this slowly come up on my motor.......it use to happen only slightly but aftera few track days it's definately louder. I get this loose knocking sound from the motor between 2,000revs - 4,000revs only when I'm accelerating. Under those revs it's not there.........and above it's not there unless the car gets too loud for me to hear it. Theres been no loss in power or anything like that. I previously thought it was a loose timing chain so I changed that. And after the change car drove sweet but still made the knocking noise. Cars being sanded down and semi stripped this week for full respray in a fornight...........woohooo..........paint had faded pretty badly in these last few months with hotter weather. Cheers, Will.

The bre spoiler cut fumes down by some 70% in my car.........and my rear seals are pretty crapped out. I'm getting fumes from the firewall after about an 1hr of driving when the whole engine bay heats up. Got a 50c hole where the accel rod comes out that I need to get a gromet for. But yeh the Bre spoiler helped heaps........

maybe drive it till you reach that cut out point then imediately turn the engine off pull over and check your floats to see if theres any fuel left..........if no fuel left then you'll know it's fuel pressure related. I had a similar problem only mine happend abit high up the rev band........it was a dying fuel pump I found out later on.

The only good thing about the konigs is the fact that they come in 0 ET.........so they fit snug even if lowered. Bad point is their fairly ugly IMO........I would gladly sell mine and buy my old wheels back. Real deal watanabe's or nothing.......
