  1. I've got a spare 5 speed if you're still looking and Minimetoy doesn't want to separate .
  2. Are the new floors Pop reverted in ?
  3. Roger Are you running 51mm frt struts ? You could swap over to 260z 55mm struts as the castings on the spindle are much bigger and wouldn't flex as much . Just a thought ! Cheers Doug
  4. Bureaucracy gone absolutely mad ! http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/article.php?reqart=FOC_201707_SS2
  5. Going by his description of the steering wheel you would want to have a GOOD look at this one ! * No cracks on dash , steering wheel in perfect condition
  6. if you read the questions at the bottom of the Ebay listing he say's he will take $20 min You would need a Holden/Falcon ute, well packed for the parts, car can be driven on a permit. You can buy a lot of rust for $15000, this has none,No. $20 min will buy it. Perhaps you should take a look prior to making an offer.
  7. No outer body pic's just interior and chassis . Very solid with no rust but missing load's of parts . I might have to go for a drive and see if it's still in the barn !!! That's all the images I have
  8. #741 I was going though an old hard drive and found a number of images including some of #741 I remember looking at this car about 15 + years ago going by the dates on the images on a large country type property in the outer east of Melbourne . The owner had been "given" the car as a spare shell and was asking $6k for it at the time . It was pretty much a striped shell with a roll cage , seam welded and rose jointed suspension etc. No drive train , interior , wiring loom , lights or bumpers . Not sure if it ever sold or if it's still sitting in the old barn ! Cheers Doug

  11. Looking for a fiberglass ( or steel ) bonnet for my 240z race car . Any condition is fine and happy to pay for shipping . Yes I know you can get them new but want one while I get around to repairing the original steel unit . Cheers Doug
  12. All ready avaliable. CSIRO do it and have made all sorts of stuff including Titanium body implants to replace cancerous bones . It's in the same department that the above engine sand cores were printed.
  13. No different guy but I give him credit as I asked him if it was the car on gumtree and he openly admitted to it .
  14. Just been offered this car for $15k vin # 01311 I have also been offered another car that was recently sold through this site for $15k now asking $25k . Funny thing is I used to own the car and only paid $2500 for it in exactly the same condition . 1000% increase in price over 15 years . Lots of people flipping Zeds at the moment !
  15. If only someone would do the same with 240z panels . You could just about build a new car with the parts from this place ! http://www.restoration-design.com/index.html
  16. You can see rust coming through in the A pillar ( almost in line with the top of the dash ) so I would suggest a proper inspection as their is bound to be more rust hiding under the paint .
  17. No Bargain was when I payed $2500 for it in 2003 in exactly the same condition ?
  18. Rex ended up getting $15k for it
  19. How old are they ? What is the production date ? Cheers Doug
  20. Porsche have a register of all chassis numbers . A number of years ago I owned a 1965 912 ( pic in avatar) and called Porsche centre in Melbourne with the vin number . They were able to tell me the build date , Colour , trim options , If the engine and gear box numbers matched , where it was delivered to and even down to the type of tyres the car was fitted with on delivery . Cheers Doug
  21. No thanks ? It needed a "full" resto and that's why I sold it .
  22. And sold already
  23. That's my old car ! Non matching numbers if anyone wants to know . It was in need of floors and a gearbox rebuild when I sold it , but otherwise a fairly original car . Good luck with the sale . Cheers Doug
