Just a question, has anyone looked at getting big brake upgrade from hoppers stoppers? Sometime last year I got a quote from them for $1200 with a brand new set of calipers (i think theyre from a commodore) and disc brakes plus pads. these are ADR approved and completely legal for our cars. Do you think its worth it?

Thnx for your post shaun You can only buy 240z door cards, 260z cards are not available at all according to trev. You'll have to just modify these to suit 260z door. My old cards were not salvageable hence i bought new ones. It'll be a while b4 i get to properly fit them but if someone has done this mod (240 door card to 260 door) then pls feel free to post them up It was gr8t catching up with u again shaun my friend saw u on the highway the other day. now he wants a zed too LOL

If I have that amount to just blow out, i would buy some shares, now would be the best time to buy while they're low. Take Rio for example, $140 last year, $40-60 this year........... surely it'll go up again when the economy kicks into gear . Or....just take a year off work and see the WORLD!!!!!!! YaY

sure thing, let me know when you're here. we might be a bit busy moving to our new house next month tho. but just txt me, i'll make some time to catch up lol. Pretty much stripped the car, mounted it in rotiserie, fixed all the rusts underneat and the sills. stripped all the paint back to bare metal, etch primered, and primer filled. saw a few more imperfections in the panels once painted. so i'll get back into it later. I had to assemble the whole car together asap cause we had sold our old house last nov. bolted all the panels back together and installed the engine and g/box again so that i can transport the car as a whole. i would've been finished by now if we didn't move LOL!! oh well. looks like i wont finish it anytime soon

Hey Shaun, thanks for the link, that seems like a good idea. i might have a go at doing it myself then. I have a 240z dash. It's not in great shape cause the previous owner had a go at repairing it, then stuck a piece of vinyl on top to cover it up!!! Dashboard restorations currently have one 240z dash in stock for $660 /exchange. They'll send me a pic tomorrow. only problem is that it'll cost me an extra $200 to ship to gladstone this will include my dash shipped down to brissy. Another option is the suede finish with stichings, i'll probably get a quote from the local upholsterers to see if it'll be a cheaper option. while im there i'll get a quote to get the door cards done

Hi guys, i need some advice on fibreglass dashboards. My dash needs reskinning but thought i might try and consider fibreglass ones. I'm lookin at buying one from alfamotorsports but not sure how they would go in road cars. I can see some positives (very light weight, cheaper than reskinned dash) and some negatives (no glovebox, need to drill holes and make brackets for gauges). what do u guys think? is it worth it? thanks in advance Eddii

i was on the same dilema as you neuby, but i just bit the bullet and went with flares. it'll be a lot of work to blend another metal flares to the zed, but if yur up for it then great NZeder's flares looked really awesome, but i think it was done profesionally. why not try the panel beaters. might cost too much tho.

Yes, it is still for sale, basically you'll need the linkages, trumpets, fuel pump, sensors (depending on your choice of ECU) and an ECU. All this can be purchased from EFI Hardware, they have just updated their website so u can see all the parts needed Also we have a wealth of knowledge in this forum...Im pretty sure everyone would be more than happy to give out some advice
