  1. Love the coil brackets, very neat!
  2. Yeah I have an Ozito heat gun and it's more than fine, will melt the wires if you're not careful. Let us know how you get on!
  3. What about something like techflex? It's a bit more painful to install but can be done very cleanly. I did all of my dizzy & electric fan wires in FLEXO PET and it looks pretty good, although these are just small bunches of wires. http://www.techflex.com.au/techflex-braided-sleeving-products
  4. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/albany-creek/cars-vans-utes/1977-datsun-280z-coupe/1009180197 Left Hand Drive Car in Brisbane. Looks tidy, unfortunate colouring. Price seems reasonable for condition
  5. Jesus that must be exciting. I want to come down and see that thing when it's moving
  6. Thanks Matt, I have already sent them down to him and might be getting them sent back up next week. If it ends up being longer or the shipping is over the top I'll let you know!
  7. Yeah go speak to Ash at Morrabbin Auto Spares, my hilux calipers are with him atm. He is great to deal with
  8. This is heading somewhere very very bad....
  9. I am if you are man enough to give it to me for $1000
  10. And the only one to hit a pole
  11. Haha it looks a bit that way doesn't it. He was the only one able to keep to the front of the pack
  12. A few threads over at Hybrid but not many with feedback. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=ermiosh+racing+site%3Aforums.hybridz.or&oq=ermiosh+racing+site%3Aforums.hybridz.or&aqs=chrome.0.57.8166&sugexp=chrome,mod=15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#hl=en&tbo=d&spell=1&q=ermish+racing+site:forums.hybridz.org&sa=X&ei=C3S8UJG0Kua3iQeSqIHwAw&ved=0CC0QvwUoAA&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&fp=5e3a588fe1463c4a&bpcl=39314241&biw=1103&bih=885 This one thread says to avoid them but doesn't say why http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/77491-any-recommended-shops-in-east-bay-ca/
  13. $850US plus shipping. I would be interested to see what the quality is like after the recent threads about Wolfcreek Racing's setup :s
  14. Definitely a greay day! Click the link for more photos, don't mind the sharpness of some of the images, trying to hold a camera over your shoulder and shooting through a dirty hatch is not the best way to take photos! Oh and don't mind the website either, it's a new work in progress so I'm still sorting out some of the details. http://shaun-maluga.com/?p=335 <a href="http://shaun-maluga.com/?p=335"><img src="http://shaun-maluga.com/Images/Z/Events/xmas2012run/XmasDrive_2012_039_800.jpg"/></a>
  15. Seems like everyone's here but if anyone's running late and can't find us call <edited>
  16. All cases have been printed and are on their way to me. The shipping is saying between 2-4 weeks, hopefully they come in sooner!
  17. If you end up pulling it apart to tighten the nut, order a new nut for it. Apparently they are a locking, 1 use item. I had a gearbox rebuilt at a shop and the nut came lose twice, once on 500 klm trip straight after getting the box back and then again a couple of months later. After the shop had to pull it apart on their dime for a 3rd time they worked it out The nut was something like $10 or $20. Can't confirm 100% if this is correct but that's what they told me!
  18. I'm sure there is more than enough support but I had a feeling that there was a regulation that you couldn't modify the firewall at all, even putting in a small hole to run wires etc. Perhaps this is a Qld rule? Either way, I'm sure most of us would do it without thinking twice but it might be good to clarify for the more fastidious types.
  19. Thanks for the writeup, good to see the details as I've been looking into master cylinder upgrades lately. You mention wanting to pair parts to keep the engineer happy, but aren't there issues with drilling into the firewall? Would like to hear peoples thoughts on this.
  20. Monies received, I will place the orders tonight, last chance anyone else?
  21. Thanks Vindi, PM sent
  22. How about that?
  23. Yeah this minimum shipment of $60 from the states is a pain in the a$$. Bring back ground shipping. No probs Saxon
  24. Thanks for planning the drive be-zed. Link to google maps if anyone wants it: X-MAS DRIVE MAP
