  1. Long time no see! I have actually been stalking the forums lately, planning how I am going to finish off my 260z that's been in my dad's shed for the last 15 years. Anyway, tuned in to the reveal last night and I hated it at first. But with a few small tweaks and removing that horrible yellow I think I am starting to fall in love with it. Here is my edit, shaping the grill, round headlight inserts, coloured roof, darkened katana and more traditional door handle
  2. Yeah Illustrator Gav, based on a pic of my car I'm moving to New York next year and will have more time to work on creative projects like this. Let me know if you want to work together to knock up a Rally Clock shirt for auszcar
  3. I previously ordered the Drift Machine version in grey and 1 in yellow. Pretty cool shirt but the material is very thick. I also found another tee supplier that used my silhouetted side profile of my 240z as a design for a shirt. I was meant to email them about the copyright but never got around to it. You can also get the NDN shirt from Red Bubble from me http://www.redbubble.com/people/shaunmaluga/shop/t-shirts?ref=artist_shop_product_refinement
  4. Yep member here but have not been very active in the last couple of years as the photography is taking up all of my life. Unfortunately that has meant less time and money to spend on the Datsun. I somewhat regularly post pics of Datuns and I will have a bunch of content from this years World Time Attack Challenge going up over the next couple of weeks/months. Check out my Facebook & Instagram page and give it a like if you want some of that showing up in your feed http://facebook.com/shaunmalugaphotography https://instagram.com/shaunmaluga/
  5. Still worth trying to get a revival Peter! I've been so busy I've only opened this site 4 or 5 times in the past year I reckon I've had to resort to paying people to do work to the car as well as I just don't have any weekends. It is a good feeling though just dropping off a broken car and getting back a running beast
  6. I think I might book in for happy laps too!
  7. One of the reasons I want to move to Melbourne. The photos from the last few Coffee & Classics look cool. Luke knows how to put on an event and makes a great magazine, would be great to see some Z's in there
  8. Yeah it is the Yatala Drive in on the south side of Brisbane Some more photos from that night here: http://shaun-maluga.com/snake-mongoose-presented-by-fuel-magazine/ There's also a drive in in Ipswich but I haven't been to that one before.
  9. Haha any z car is worthy of being shot! But did someone say tasteful nudes?
  10. Thanks guys Chris, no plan for Canberra at the moment but if we can get enough interest I can, 3 - 4 shoots would be ideal. If not, I want to do a long weekend at Thredbo or something next year so I could possibly do it on my way through
  11. Hi guys, I've barely been online here lately, I have been flat out with my photography work. But I would like to come to Melbourne and Sydney to do photo shoots for anyone that wants them! Doesn't have to be of a Z if you have another car you would like photos of To make it affordable I would look at locking in a few people (depending on dates), and then waiting for some cheap flights to book in a date. If I can get enough interest I would be looking at $300 per shoot and you would get a selection of fully edited images. I can also organise printing on a variety of materials too such as metal, wood & glass etc. I'll do on first come first serve basis so post below or pm to let me know if you would be interested. If I can get a weekend up and running I will donate some money to the forum too as I haven't done that in a while. And here is just a selection of some of my recent work, I hope you enjoy facebook.com/shaunmalugaphotography www.shaun-maluga.com

    CIJ run

Haha well technically the top half and bottom half are both real, they just exist in a different space/time

Haha you're not suggesting that it isn't real are you Peter? Or that that sun might actually be from a beach in Woodgate over Easter

+1 on the great, fun, well organised day. Even my partner navigating had fun and she didn't really want to go at all! Nice pics Peter. Not sure when I'll get a chance to go through the few photos I have but here is one of a couple of yellow Z's http://shaun-maluga.com/ https://www.facebook.com/shaunmalugaphotography
  15. Hi guys, I have organised a detailing day at Timeless Car Cleaning in Brisbane tomorrow (19th July) for Z Car Club Members. Richard has offered some very generous discounts so please come out and get a clean! Don't worry if your Z isn't running, you can bring out your daily driver If you aren't a member of the club, come out anyway and have a chat to some of the members and fellow Z nuts and even sneak in a cheap clean. Let me know if you are thinking of coming! https://www.facebook.com/events/1435042490107715/
  16. Ah yes Lyton, I did think fuse when it happened but then kinda forgot to check them once it was running again. Will also check tonight
  17. Thanks for all the tips and ideas. The coil is quite new (only a year or 2 and I don't drive the car much). Hard to test the fuel situation as it is now running completely fine so I would have to wait for it to breakdown again to check. I couldn't check anything in the tunnel because you aren't allowed out of your car Last night I replaced the ignition module with a spare and put on a new dizzy cap and rotor button as I just happened to have them lying around. Didn't take it for a long drive as it was late, so will test out more tomorrow. But it ran better than usual and didn't miss a beat
  18. Thoughts on this? Judging by the heat in the ignition module, I would have thought that would have been more conducted from the engine rather than from the functioning of the unit? http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/distributorrebuild/index.html
  19. Gav, I saw a stock photo of one on the computer screen at repco, looks the same as the stock one (shape and everything) but of course that is just a representation and may look different in person. I was surprised that they could get it in within a day too! I will post a photo if I get it but I reckon I'll try my ones at home first. If only the Z had hazard lights I would feel a little better driving around
  20. Do these modules have different characteristics, ie might need to be tuned differently?
  21. Thanks for the info guys, very helpful. I was just at repco and they can get aftermarket replacement modules for $116 just FYI if anyone is looking. I have 2 spare Nissan ones at home so might try them first.
  22. Would it be a sign of it "wearing out", ie would it be more susceptible to heat as they wear out? I had only been driving for about 10 minutes with a 5 minute warm up. So it would have been at temperature, but not for long and I was doing 80k at the time so would have had a little bit of air flow through the engine bay. I tired it again after it had been sitting for about 20 minutes and no good, but by the time I got it to work (maybe 30-40 minutes after breakdown) it started.
