  1. Oh that's a low blow Glen!
  2. Valve 'stretch' is very uncommon on Nissan engines - least I've never heard of it happening. You could also check the height of the retainers & make some someone hasn't swapped an odd height one in.
  3. Your making sense AE92 struts I believe are suitable - I'd need to confirm though. OR you could always turret your strut towers by 25mm mate That's what I'll be doing...
  4. AE = Alternate Ego. So called 'Mr Ricer' needs to run his IP through a different Proxy is he wishes to do that...
  5. P90 valves are SHORTER than the other heads, due to the P90 having deeper chambers. Are you sure you don't have N42 etc exhaust valves in there? My other suggestion is that maybe the valve seat on No.6 Ex is 'pocketed' more than the others. And perhaps check your lash pad height.
  6. Why someone would import a 2+2 is beyond me...
  7. Hahaha. I think we have a AE on board ^.
  8. Anh, your far better off just using a R33/R34 GTS RB25det manual front cut. It'll cost FAR less & be nearly as quick. If you really wish to go down the GTR path with the 6sp gearbox, you'll need to strip the back off the GTR gearbox, remove the Altessa centre clutch pack, cut the casting off the housing where the centre clutch back was & weld the hole up. This is NOT something someone without experience should attempt. You may also find major problems with the ECU, when it can't find the sensors for the 4WD system. Seems like a lot of work for when you add up the 10k+ purchase price for a BNR34 front cut...
  9. I didn't know they had to be reversed, Dimitri? That's a new one - cheers for the info
  10. There's around 15-20kg's of sound deadner in Zed's alone...
  11. REV. DAVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEE!!! Get onto this!!!
  12. No worries Steve - always pleased to confuse! It may cause you to loose some turn-in, but as I haven't tried this myself I can't say for certain. Give it a go mate & report back!
  13. As always Gav - go for it!
  14. Welcome to the nut-house When you get your Zed post some pics up or Col. Sanders will linch you!

  18. The MC will be fine mate.
  19. Quick update. I completed the front brake upgrade just befor Christmas '08: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,3498.0.html Big difference - stops much more progressively now.
  20. Just buy a rubber kit for both if it's cheaper then buying new cylinders. It's easy-peasy to reco them
  21. My preference are Ferodo DS2500's or if you’re really giving your brakes a hard time; DS3000's.
  22. If it just needs an Engine/Gearbox, give it to Ben!
  23. Like sands through the hour glass...
  24. BWAHAHAHAHA! Good on you Dave - that's great. I bet Mel is SOOOOOO pleased... What's the plans for this one?
