MelZ Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Hi guys,I am currently running standard 14" jelly bean alloys on my 71 240z and am looking to change to some mini lite copies with the option of either 15x 7' or 15x8 's or staggered figment with 15x7's on the front and 15x8's on the rear.Have any of you guys run any of these options and which is best.I guess the staggered figment is best to neutralize any oversteer or rear end step out under hard cornering , am I right ?.your thoughts and experiences please. MaygZ Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Before I went down the 15" path, have a chat to your tyre dealer regarding what tyres are available in that size. You might find that answers your question. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted July 11, 2012 Moderators Posted July 11, 2012 I wouldn't stagger the sizes; just stick with either 7 or 8 inch on all corners. I ran both and the 8's would be the pick of the two. You can fit 225's without a problem. Quote
Agno Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Finding the 225s are the problem! Not much to choose from in road tyres anymore Quote
