Original airbox - '76 260z twin SU's.

Hey guys,

 

I have vents in my bonnet and I was just wondering if anyone has a spare original airbox for me? I want to keep the rain out of my carby's!

If you need an airbox for a set of 260 carbs (three bolt holes) I do have a couple here in Melbourne though..

I don't know a whole lot about the carby's yet but i believe they're round top's?

Easy way to check; remove one of the covers and see how many bolts are there to hold the air cleaner base on. If there are two, you'll need a 240 airbox, if there are three, a 260 one would fit. I was about to post a pic of the 260 ones I have but looks like you need a 240 one (just a guess though).

Those one's look like Jag Su's.

There should be a blank out metal water deflector fitted to the underneath of your bonnet air vent. Lynton

I have one off an earlyish 240Z, NW Brisbane.

Those one's look like Jag Su's.

 

+1 airbox won't work with these - looks like British SU's of some make, you'll need 240z Hitachi carbs to work with a stock airbox.
