Gordo Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Hhi guys, can some one walk me through uploading photos with my post, using an IPad . Thanks Gordon Quote
dat2kman Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Yes, me too! And what to do if the photo on the ipad is too big pixel wise for tje 250 kb or whatever size is max we can post. Gee, and this is just after Zedman240 taught me how to open and resize in Paint on my Windows pc. This could end up information overload,,,, ooohhh, my head hurts! Quote

luvemfast Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 You can email the picture to yourself and choose the size. But I don't think you can upload it Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted January 24, 2012 Administrators Posted January 24, 2012 Haven't used an ipad myself yet, but I imagine there is some kind of application that allows you to resize images relatively easily either built in or in the application market place. Quote
CH105 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 As the iPad has no hard drive as such you cant locate a photo from your iPad and upload it as you can with a laptop. Quote
sco_aus Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Save the photos to Photobucket website, you can re size then use the IMG link to post the photo direct on the thread you want. Quote
NZeder Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Use an Android Tablet - problem solved, you can browse local storage no problem....I don't have an iPad so can't add thing of use but To attach pictures directly from your iPhone you'd need to use the app Tapatalk with an enabled forum (like TiPb). Otherwise, you need to upload the photo to a photo sharing site (fotopic, picasa, flickr, etc.) and copy the url to the forum. Quote
Gordo Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Thanks Guys, We saved to photo bucket, the click on photo, copy image code to the message and then post. Quote
