dat2kman Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Anyone else planning to do this? I will be taking my dads group r sports car up for a run. Ash Ash, has that been historic log booked and cod'd yet! Much difficulty doing so down there? I am hearing of cost increases by CAMS, that would start to cause potential car owners to say "stuff it". Quote
zr240 Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Yep the car is already historic log booked. Ash Quote

Gordo Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 So Simon , I see you and your dad are the only guys in classe D classic.Have fun boys. Quote
luvemfast Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Omg omg omg omg omg That means I should win my first trophy. Dad's never beaten me and last time at Winton, I was 5 and a half seconds faster. BUT.......... Murphy lives here. This will be the first time he beats me :'( Quote
chev z Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Well if that's the case ,Dad V Son , I will let your dad use my 260 2+2 bus. It's still setup with racing suspension and semi slicks, it used to do a respectable 1min 45.5 sec , would that be quick enough to edge u into second place Simon. Dad's are number one. If you come last in your class it will match my position in class R1, I'm up against Porkers and Beamers.Pretty sure I will be admiring an assortment of passing tail lights. Might have to buy some L plates to stickon my rear window.Or a 'be careful when passing --Old man onboard ' bumper sticker Quote
Gordo Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Looked on Natsoft. Simon 1.46 and Ron 1.52, 1st and2 nd in class. Ash a 136.4 2nd in class great time Ash. And Steve ,chev Z ,a 1.47, 4th in class , well done guys, sorry if I missed any one. Quote

I never caught up with him to say Hi.It was bloody hot up at Winton ,car ran upto 120deg. cel. and the driver about 150deg.lol Still had a very enjoyable time with Simon and his family tho, We had the only Zeds which was a pity. Moderators Zedman240® Posted January 30, 2012 Moderators Posted January 30, 2012 But do they come with free flat spots and numerous heat cycles? Quote

PZG302 Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 But do they come with free flat spots and numerous heat cycles? Get them from the good drivers and no flat spots and only a handful of laps, I used them on the Zed and was very happy with the performance for the price Quote
bluerat Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Great looking Sportcar Ash, I know it's a long shot but is it related to the Lancia special that lives and some times races down here in Tassie? What's the motor matey? are we talking Intergrale? or an older twin cam? Cheer's Hodgo Quote
zr240 Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 Hi hodgo It's not a long shot at all, it's that car! We have had it for about a year now. It's the twn cam beta motor with twin webers. Ash Quote
