Stewart Wilkins Racing in Syd do make a special set of L6 extractors (you have to ask for them specifically, they arent on the web-site anymore)

Sometimes ther is a wait time, as they normally sell before they are delivered to the workshop!

They are race proven in many events, very well thought out....

If one were thinking of shipping one (or more) over........

Last I heard they were not in stock and were waiting for resupply - that was months and months ago maybe even 12 months ago now. A number of racers here in NZ use that header with good results.

Thanks Mike.  ;)

If I chase them up in the States, who's interested in a group buy?

I have a guy who can ship them over here.

I'll pick them up then send them off or guys can pick them up from me.

I think Gordo got this style copied and made up by someone he knows. He Could be worth a try,  might be cheaper especially if you can produce the flanges simon.

The extractor Ben used on his car is similar but photo does not show the other piece of the extractor

Cheers

Then you are after one of the following

A Kakimoto Racing, Fujitsubo or Thrust  (no longer in business I think) header then as they a similar design to the one in the pic from Ben (in fact I assume Ben is one of these brands)

Hope you have deep pockets getting a unit out of Japan is not cheap.

I can second Peter Mac.. I spent a year looking looking for extractors. Spoke to US NISMO and they are a 3 month wait at best, with no guarantees. Its like they are not interested in doing business, really!

I bought the SWR bespoke kit and its a very welll made thing in the right design you are after. Have a look at the photos on my Brown Hornet thread, which are pretty detailed.

Go with the locally made stuff, its very good.

Ben the USA  ::) iv tryed 6 different sets and there is only a small amount in the pipes there all about 27-32 in long and if you wont to play you will find more in the exhaust as a hole ..the SW pipes are within 2 hp of the best and if you tune the exhaust they make more thru the mid rpm than all the pipes iv tryed, if you have a strong L28 they are grate with a 3 in pipe

Good choice Larry.  I also tried to make contact with Nismo with no response at all.  That's pretty average customer service. I am glad to spend my $$ in Aus with people who actually value your business.
