It sounds like you will have a big project ahead of you, best of luck with it and it would be great to see a couple of photos of how the car is at the moment,

Hi and Welcome

I went down the path with my first one (240Z) full rebuild and then went to a road ready and the rebuilt while staying registered so enjoy the experience, the end result will be worth it and good luck as you go along.

I am in the Illawarra with a 240Z so happy to have a chat at some stage.

Cheers

Ian

Good to see another Zed under "constructive surgery" - welcome and good luck.  I'm located in Silverdale, so perhaps our paths will cross - I start spraying in September when the weather gets more conducive (at LAST!!!), happy to give you any contacts you may need as the project unfolds.

Welcome and good luck on the project...

Sometimes it looks like a never ending task but believe me, it's worth it in the end.
