53-681 Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Hello everyone, I require the part that keeps the bonnet locked down on the latch, the part that clings onto the latch. Its the part that is under the bonnet itself. I need to know what its called, I've got no idea :S The panel beater said maybe a bonnet lock nail? Any suggestions anybody??? Kind Regards, Sam Quote
53-681 Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 Actually after a bit of researching, I've come across these: http://www.rarespares.net.au/rarespares/ProductPage.aspx?product=H1018 & http://www.jag-lovers.org/lumps/faqs/bonnetlatch/index.html So its actually a Bonnet lock pin, spring and nut... Does anyone know where to obtain one of these babies for a 260Z? Quote

haul Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Once upon a time us panelbeaters called it a dog _ock and that is what you called it when you were ordering the part, it was also listed as that in the parts books. Cheers Tony Quote
luvemfast Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Once upon a time us panelbeaters called it a dog rooster Panelbeaters aren't known for their spelling. Don't leave out the "s", or they'll send you Benny Quote
haul Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 The censor changed it from a dog you know what, to a dog rooster. If you mean the 's' on the end of dog, It was known only as dog _ock not dogs. Tony Quote
