zdream Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 now lowered! ITS TOGETHER AND STARTS AGAIN! Sounds tuff with the new exhaust manifolds, and exhaust (3.5 inch half the way then 3 inch ) these are shots taken under the car at the rear, you can see the bottom of the fuel tank, the fuel pumps ect. You can see the bushes on the srung steel bar holding the diff are aluminum, the diff twisting under take off would mash the bushes, so turning up new ones to make it solid was the only way to beat the problem. B) you are going to want one of these! full aluminum center consol,REAL RACE, BUILT TO KEEP THE WEIGHT DOWN B) B) The motor is has returned, all pumped up and ready to go,missing Summernats but ready for power cruise. Manifolds have been coated, heads ported ect, ect.HOW TUFF DOES IT LOOK! I FEEL AS IF i HAVE SWALLOWED A BOTTLE OF VIAGRA PILLS WHEN I SET MY EYES UPON IT R B's who  P.S note the intercooler on the front of the mistu, just can leave anything untouched. Quote

620Z Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Looking awesome Zdream. We would love to see it down here for the Nationals at Easter. Big ask but still great to see the progress. Man the hours (not to mention the money) put into this would have to be up there with anybody's on a Zed. Keep it going. We would love to see or hear her in the flesh one day. Quote
luke_mcmahon85 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 that is amazing, that aluminium console must have cost a fortune... was that a coupe or a 2+2 to begin with? Quote
zdream Posted February 12, 2007 Author Posted February 12, 2007 thanks for the feed back, keeps me going. the consul was the doing of a mate, I only added the pods later(to his dissapointment) He will build one, but be warn, the hours in it make it expensive,pm me if you want his number. It might be at the Nationals, see how it go's. Getting it ready for Sydney powercruise, first time on the track for the car. Quote
