Now the fun of an engine swap has to be done again for the fourth time. With a long list of mods, it will be interesting to see the dyno results with no real over the top modifications. Just a pic of the engine sitting on the floor for the moment next to it's patient. I've missed the sound of a good lumpy L series engine... Quote

Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 1, 2011 Author Moderators Posted April 1, 2011 Just a good rebuild with balanced and crack tested crank, 1mm overbore and new flat top pistons to raise the comp ratio and some mild porting, Wade 74' cam and adjustable cam gear and alot of the details that are in that "How to modify the L series Engine?" book eg: screw in oil gallery plugs etc. I'll be doing the swap over the next couple of weeks then as Les said to get it dynoed ASAP. I will post up figures when I have them. Quote

Hopefully this WILL be the last one since its the original motor for the 240Z. Next zed will have a turbo L28 if all goes well. But that's for another thread! Quote
