There's a local 'Speed Shop' just round the corner from me.

I went in today & struck up a bit of a conversation with the owner/manager.

It might be possible to organize a 'group by' of sorts through him (I did not ask him about it at the time) for various item i.e. oils through to race seats etc.

Anyway, just an idea...

the guy didn't say a date, just that they were starting to make them on the 15th...so a while still now. i've been recommended a guy to use to cut the rear fenders, in terms of quality and price. Then and i went to cost less bolts in ringwood this morning and bought the list of stuff that 240zhoke in the US used, but in metric sizes as thats all they had one of the bits in. however with how high the rear of my car sits i'm wondering if it would ever get close to hitting, i think i'll need to experiment with putting something in the fender for my current wheels to hit or something.

might go talk to the guy about how much it would be to get them cut etc, then just use the method u've used for now and c if it rubs heaps or not without cutting.

i've been meaning to call the wheel place regarding lock nuts, so mayb thats something else we could get in somehow...but everyone having the same sort, or advertising what brand your using kind of defeats some of the purpose lol

ok well if they start on the 15th of Jan I expect they will finish them 5 weeks later. There's quite a few different brands of wheels made in 3 piece custom offset sizes. I think a typical price for custom 17's in the config needed for the flares would be anywhere from $2200 to $3500 these days.

Hi everyone,

I saw some reproduction seat covers. They looked pretty accurate to the original design. I should have taken a photo of them. They were for the car I recently listed on ebay.

I'm working towards getting the diamond vinyl kits together.

Who is interested in door trims?

What would you guys be willing to pay for these items?

- Remanufactured Seat Covers

- Remanufactured Diamond Vinyl

- Remanufactured Door Trims

- Carpet Kits

I just need to know so I know if it's worthwhile going ahead with everything.

Hey I have to say interior door trims cream/white for a 2+2 or at least drivers side only, would be a miracle, along with a ss drivers door mirror.

I understand the number of verticle vinyl pleats on the door trims vary with different years?

Also the chromium strip with the wood grain through it could be difficult?

I really wish you well on this.

I have heard you can get these trims new but I don't know the supplier source but I had been quoted close on $300-00 plus for each does that ring a bell with you?

I think the quote was from All Z Parts?

See first post.

Depending on results I will try and organise a group buy of items. If something obvious is missing from the list let me know.

I am confident I can pretty much source anything through several contacts. So if you really need something don't be affraid to ask.

Here are a couple of shots of the seat reupholstery kits.

The photos are not the best as they were taken using a flash as the only light source.

The top half of the seat is original and has not been replaced while the bottom half has. In this lighting it looks more obvious that one is newer than the other but in person it is hard to tell.

The quality of the pattern on the bottom half is identical to the top and it would take a very trained eye to spot the difference.

I can also obtain a large selection of FG panels - bumpers, spoilers, bonnets & guards etc. for very reasonable prices.

Although a 'group-by' might be more suitable...

Lurch

Hey Lurch, have you got a ball park figure for the bumpers in FG?

Hey Gav,

I'm interested in the diamond vinyl, door trims and carpets.

When you say door trims, do you mean just the trim itself, or the moulded board as well?

When I was living in Sydney I got a quote to re-pad my seats (not re-upholster) the guy quoted me $360 for each seat, which I thought was rediculous
