Hi all,

This question has probably been asked before so apologies in advance if it comes across repetitive..

The time has finally come for me to start hunting around for a good, skilled and honest panel beater to do the body work on my 260z project car. I'm aware that it involves quite a lot of tedious work after the previous owner seems to have taken to the rust with a chainsaw.

I just want to see who is out there and willing to take-on a job like this.

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Rob Laughton.

Zed Restoration factory. knows the zeds backwards and does very good work.

Usually has a fair line of cars waiting so can take some time.

If you find Rob is flat out and can't fit you in then try Paul Rankin at Rankins Restorations in Bayswater, Paul worked on my Zed (bare metal restoration with rust repairs to sills, guards etc) ........Four years on and the paint is as good as new and no signs of rust !

The specialise in Alpha's and Fiats (and now Zeds) so they know how to fix rust properly

He does some of the most amazing work I have ever seen - well he did 15 years ago - and he wasn't that old back then.  He's probably older now tho - by about 15 years

I really should read the threads better before I post  ;D

I am very curious to hear why he's persona non gratia.  Please PM or post.
