djc2004 Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 is this going to be held at Como on the 3rd again? thought i might have a look.. looked at the NDSOC website but it has very little info other than the date. Quote
warrenz Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Their web site has a address and link to map for Como Park http://www.ndsoc.com.au/mambo/content/view/87/2/ Warren Quote
JP240z Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 did anyone else go there today? i was there...but the car is in for the roadworthy. Saw Sulio's car and the red 2+2 with the molded bumpers...craig lovegrove i think...but i didnt recognise anyone as i havent been to a meet yet. There were some very nice examples of zed restorations tho...definately worth the look on the way back from skoolies. Quote
Huw Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I was there, think i may have spoken to you about my '71 (blue one) was less people than last year and I was slightly 'under the weather' so didn't stay too long. Huw Quote
Toecutter Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I was there for about an hour. Did'nt get the car ready as I was hoping so just parked on the street. I need to upload the pics I've got. I did'nt get get a photo of a low white 240 with superlite wheels. I thought it looked quite nice. Anybody get some pics of that car? he left just as I was about to take a photo of it! Quote
warrenz Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Hi I got there about 1:15, I thought is was disappointing from a Z point of view. 1 orange 240, 2 260's and Len Brennans car. A red G noose drove out as I was coming in. Warren Quote
JP240z Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 yeah....sorry huw...didnt realise that was you...awesome car tho...mines pretty similiar and i just didnt click lol. That white 240 was very nice i thought, nice and low and very good exterior but the interior was disappointing, the sound of it as it left was also a little disappointing. I thought the height of the white zed really set it off, but i think im just in love with low zeds because mines sitting at 70 mm lol. Quote
Azman Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I went down this morning, 9-10:30 ish tok some photo's which I will upload after I look at them and edit/approve them lol. Must say it did give me inspiration to get my ass into gear over xmas and the new year to get my car running, roadworthy and registered. Quote
Azman Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 ok guys my photos from the concourse have been up loaded under my user files. Quote
Toecutter Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Good work Azman. This was the car I was talking about. Is the owner a member here, just wondering about his suspension set up? Quote
Huw Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I know the owner lives round my way....think his name is gareth (not sure tho) very neat car both inside and out. Quote
620Z Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Yeah that white car looks great. I got there late and parked up the back for an hour or two. Mine was the red Zed with the G-nose. I also was a little dissappointed. Only half the cars compared to the year before and the quality was down. It's a shame plenty of the Zed owners with great cars couldn't get down there. Quote
