crazed Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 G,day Fellow Zedders. I have been lurking on this site for quite a while now and I thought it was time I "outed" myself! A little background: I would guess that I am the oldest member here. A little clue: I purchased a brand new 73 model 240z when I was a young fella. Wish now that I had kept it, but as with many others, marriage and kids demanded more than 2 seats. Anyway, long story short, got the bug again about 10yrs ago. Was after a 240 but none available at that time. I spotted a 260 2 seater for sale and snapped it up. It is standard(I'm old school) except for extractors and round tops and mags. The thing hasn't missed a beat since I've owned it. Never had to put a spanner to it. It's my DD and that has included several trips to Melb and Sydney. It has a few rust spots in the doors and front guards. Will be rectifying that over summer. Must say I have been impressed with some of the technical expertise that has been posted on this site. Well, that's it from me for now. Will post pics when my daughter/son visit(told you, old school!). Regards, Lloyd. Quote
