stevo_gj Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 What's the condition of the front bumper? Quote

zedevan Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 i assume u mean 280zx as a 280z in australia is rare enough, yet alone a t-top one!?! Quote
stevo_gj Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Yes please post some pictures, it will help your sales greatly. I'll be surprised if it is a 280z, since the only 280z's that made it to Australia were specially imported and im pretty certain that I've never seen an S30 body with a targa roof. The 280zx is very common in Australia with red velour interior, fuel injected motor and electric windows. I'm pretty sure you'll find HS130 on the VIN plate of this 280 you're wrecking, which indicates that it's a 280zx. The badges were probably all removed at some stage for painting and never replaced. 280ZX Dad Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I would be interested in the rear vision mirror, hand full of red plastic plugs that hold in the interior mouldings and the surround for the gear lever (if automatic), please advise on condition of these pieces and price. Thanks, David Quote
kalium Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I might be after after a cheap motor to rebuild. How much do you want for it? Cheers Quote
zedevan Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 no worries, fwiw there was an american company doing t-top conversions to s30's but apparently their glass all shattered and they went bankrupt, the cars looked pretty cool though! Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted November 16, 2009 Administrators Posted November 16, 2009 Also in Japan they were sold as a Fairlady 280z - no X . However if it is prefixed HS130 its a 280zx . Interested in what head is on the engine? I assume N42? You can find out by looking just above the #1 spark plug. Quote
micks280zx Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 How much for the R200 Diff driveshaft flange? (The flange on the diff that is connected to the pinion gear) Quote
wrecking280zt-topqld Posted November 18, 2009 Author Posted November 18, 2009 - Whole engine with N42 cylinder head $150 I don't really want to pull it appart - rear IRS assembly same story $200 i will throw tail shaft and brake callipers and hand brake assembly in as-well before i pulled the car appart i drove it on and of the car trailer and around the block a little the motor ran OK although weak in compression and the diff had no winds nor knocks the springs and shocks seamed a little sad. I've an air compressor and rattle gun the car is risen well off the ground. I mention this cause both prices include remove yourself. I have a large 8 ft 75x75 box section steal and a 9 inch grinder chains etc- we can cut out the radiator support UN bolt the engine and with 2 extra fellas remove it unless you hire a hoist for 1/2 day. pklord Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Hey how's it going. I have an 1981 280 ZX and am looking for a new front bumper. I don't really mind if it's a bit of a mess and needs paint ect. just as long as it is straight. Also I'm looking for the fan control module that has a heat sink attached and is screwed underneath the dash under the fan and monitors the temp as the air flows past the heat sink that sits inside the air con. duct. Looks like I need a new compressor for the air con. So if you have any ideas where I can get a compressor I would appreciate it. Thanks, Phil. Mob. 04 1237 5484 Quote
