mtopxsecret6 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 well.. my cat has a rocket powered scooter. you should see her fly up and down the foot path out the front of the house.. she says she could go way faster on the road.. but qld transport wont allow it to be classified as a powered transport vehicle, not the fact that she is a cat... oh well.. as crazy as the cat story is.. so is this car.. lol. stevo_gj Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 I heard that this car is actually not that fast. Anyone comment? Sounds/looks pretty fing amazing Quote
Toecutter Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 haha....it looks real though but hard to believe. There's no jet out the back. Surely this is not real!? I thought jet powrerd cars just roll and don't actually put power to the wheels? This has gottta be someones video editing? SUlio Quote
mtopxsecret6 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 if you read the comments.. one of them describes the variants of jet engines.. Quote
zzzzed Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 yep this is shaft driven the turbine drives the back wheels Quote

sco_aus Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Noice. Yeah there are different turbine engines. eg the M1 Abrams uses a turbine engine to drive it, which there are different variants of fuel versions, like gas and diesel. Same goes for the Apache chopper. The new Abrams in our army has a diesel turbine engine, I can assure you they aren't thrust lol Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 27, 2009 Moderators Posted April 27, 2009 Theres also a gas turbine powered Chrysler Voyager on youtube somewhere.. If you want to know how fast these things can get, find that video! If I wasn't at work, I'd post the link... Quote
