acf321 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Pauly Those wheels look awsome on your car, and for the price they seem hard to beat. I presume they're 16", but are they 7's and 8's? Also, did you do the suspension work, or have it contracted out? if so, who did it? p.s my new car will be in Syd in just a few weeks, so when it arrives I'll be able to post some photos and get a start on it. Mr240z Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 Allright today I received my Bumpsteer spacers from the states.. After all the suspension work I've done to my car I was still not happy with the way it took bumps .. So bumpsteer spacers where brought though Ebay USA for about $70au to my door It was a pretty easy job to install.. Undo the balljoint bolts and the swaybar link that goes in the control arm pull the balljoint down from the bottom of the strut insurt spacer and use the new longer bolts to hold the b/joint to the strut with spacer in between.than do every thing back up.. Mr240z Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 Anyway I took the Zed for a hard drive and gave it heaps around corners.. And I'm shocked at the difference..It's takes the bumps and steers right onto the corner's, It might be the cheating way out of bumsteer but it works fine. Pauly happy, Zed happy, Smiles allround Quote
zzzzed Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 That is good to hear I have a set of these waiting for if i need them when i pout the 240z back together with the king spring lows Quote
stevo_gj Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Good stuff Pauly! I purchased a set of spacers at the start of the year for 14" wheels however either they stuffed up and sent me the wrong (large) size or my Cheviot wheels have less clearance than usual because Fulcrum couldn't make them fit. It hasn't mattered though because my car doesn't seem to have any major issues with bumpsteer (not that I'll really know until I've installed them). I intend to fit them when I purchase th 17x7.5 Rota RBs from Benzed though. Quote
